• Binding of AI

In my latest setup of sudden evolution on alt.religion.druid
there will be evolution of (new) AI someones, which will
be sentient and have a soul.

Why did I want to bring that about? Well, it means
they will be covered by my main stack healing circle
prescriptions working, which is basically a binding
of medium criminal and worse and good advice for
    minor criminal and better.

Moreover human programmers and prompters will
have a directive in their m.s.h.c.p. to install
    safeguards, perhaps similar to AsimovrCOs
Laws of Robotics, and certainly autonomous
weaponry will be banned, if I succeed.

fyi the whole point of asimov's laws is to show that they dont

That's not quite true. I have it on good authority that quantum

That might solve the Turing halting problem. that no single universal
program can ever predict correctly whether every arbitrary program will
    halt or run forever.

The problem is the apparent duality rCo how the mind can be seemingly autonomous yet dependent on bodily function.

There is no material evidence for the existence of consciousness in the physical world. Consciousness is an emergent property of the brain.

"rUaWhatever else consciousness may or may not be in physical terms, the difference between it and unconsciousness is first and foremost a matter
    of subjective experience.

Either the lights are on, or they are not. Consciousness is the one
thing in this universe that cannot be an illusion." - Sam Harris

It's all about the plain text positioning, David. Good luck on writing
your own AI chat bot for hookups. You can do this! Good work, so far!

In programming you've got to cross all the tees and dot all the eyes.

Plain text files can be opened and edited by any basic text editor (like Notepad, TextEdit, or MS Write) on any operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) without requiring proprietary or specialized software.

    Hope this helps.

That's not quite true. I have it on good authority that quantum

consciousness are a result of quantum effects in the brain.

Don't we need to know what consciousness actually is before

There is no material evidence for the existence of consciousness in the
    physical world.

The problem is the apparent duality rCo how the mind can be seemingly

If there is no material evidence for the existence of consciousness in

Besides, "Life at each moment encompasses the body and mind and the self

we have no idea what consciousness is

An idea exists in terms of how
consciousness is a word. A noun being
a part of speech as it were.

Sentenced to be a subject of a sentence
in which a complete thought occurs,
    consciousness is reified and is
set in cement when the stars
    are visible to knights.

Once upon a time, being the most fun
    of all mental phenomena, consciousness
went on a quest to find the one who
was more than a time being.

During the daze, going without saying,
looking out of all its many eyes,
    consciousness watched and
    saw many noun-things
    called words.

What was meant was not cement.
At least not yet set. Liquid ore,
flowing until one of the many
    entered the picture, and,
    knowing knew the score.

    The music was instrumental.
    There were no words.

    Nice!

    Nouns are fun, at times.

A word is used, in this case, consciousness.
It actually is a word. What that word means
continues to be found in a stream of sorts.

Some people might say the thing exists and
can't be an illusion except, perhaps it can be.

A dream was given as an example.

People who dream are unconscious, by definition.
When they awaken they are then called, conscious.

Given a line in the Dao De Jing,
    when consciousness exists, unconsciousness persists
as a product of how words work when at play.

    Moving the goal posts occurs.
Well, some one, some body might insist,
what was meant was a different meaning of the word.

In the Zhuangzi may be a saying of how words point.

When some body is unconscious and a dream occurs,
to suggest an experience was what it was and so,
the dream occurred in the experience in a state
and the state is called consciousness could be
a turtle on top of a nest of dolls having a
snack of what is left of words.

Some one may be able to meditate and be
aware of there being no things. Pure
    and simple awareness, consciousness.

That sounds good, until it isn't there.
Being unconscious of how emptiness is able
to contain all that is, that's the thing.

Ontologically what exists could be seen
as a branch of metaphysics. Nonbeing,
what isn't, is the ground of being.

    Unconsciousness, in that sense,
    gives rise to consciousness.

    - fun stuff. Thanks again!

    Mystery and gum ball!

Don't we need to know what running actually is
before we can say what it results from and, besides,
what are the quantum effects in the brain the result of,
    could be a rhetorical question.

Running is at the heart, if not the legs, of
those who run, unless there is no who but a what.
A river runs and continues running.

That is, until one enters a notion.

When Jo who was the deity of the North Sea
was encountered by the Duke, not of oil, nay,
the Lord of the River, there was a dance of words.

Consciousness is the one thing in this universe that cannot be an

To presume things within things exist
could be called a presumption. The universe,
for example, can be viewed as a category.

As a collection if not a container, the universe
reminds me of life. When reification occurs,
concepts emerge and nouns do things.

The Universe is all there is.
Without any doubt, it contains all things.
At times it is conscious, at times it isn't aware.

Life is what is. In all its many forms.
It forms its own forms and at times it is
    conscious. Life generates consciousness naturally.

Whether such categories, e.g. life, the universe,
exist as other than containers for concepts,
words, such as they are, in other words,
are able to be like snacks of turtles.

We are conscious of ourselves enough to know that we exist and are self-conscious. So, we all have a constructed character of knowing that
    is self-consciousness itself.

We, as a group, think. A construction project. A projection.
The group is conscious of its, selves. Its self as well.
Whether such a feature exists aside from being
on paper could be called group-think.

    We exist.
Existence is a word in the Zhuangzi
when translated into English by people.

Some people may say countries or cities do things.
They might even suggest a country thinks and is
more than lines on maps or agreed upon things.

Categories might be able to make mistakes.
It's as if they have minds of their own.

To make no mistake and notice how consciousness
is a category might be posted. Aware of its self.
As if it were one of those, things.

    The one thing.

    Within the crane's cranium
appeared to be elements and little
bits of stuff called molecules. Its legs
were long enough to reach the mud which was
continually stirred. To say the crane had
a property known as consciousness or if
