Finally, something interesting to debate! Thanks David. Good work.

Purpose: The World Rat Day focuses on educating the public that rats are clean, smart, and endearing companions, not just pests.

As a kid, I got what was thought
to be a white mouse that grew up
with a bit of a long tail and may
have been a rat which I set loose.

Can't recall what was on a mind then,
if it was an idea about how to cage
any form of life would be less than.

As pets, people often keep them
along with birds in different cages,
fish, in tanks, horses with bits placed
inside their mouths and ride on their backs.

And, those who do might not have any type
of thought about how those beings feel
about being trapped, or set free.

A fire horse sounds Way cool.
Like a phoenix, or rocking horse.

So, I did not know this, being so absorbed in living in the Year of the Horse, specifically the "Fire Horse," which starts on February 17, 2026,
and runs until February 5, 2027.

Apparently, Rat Day is celebrated annually on April 4th to honor rats as intelligent, social, and affectionate pets, aiming to dispel negative stigmas.

    Aye, didn't know t'hat either.
Seams to have bin stitched in 2002.

A google-bot said in its response:
    Rats don't, just carry disease.

It could have gone on to say they
may very well chew on wires inside
your motorized vehicle, or house and
    could even accidently induce fire.

    They don't multiply, like rabbits,
neigh, like horses as they laugh
at silly people in their own Way.

    - thanks! aye. Cheers!
