• Leap 15.6 and zypper

After having performed an update with zypper I always check to see which
files and libraries were affected: (sudo) zypper ps -s

Under Leap 15.6 I *always* get the response

    PID | PPID | UID | User | Command | Service ----+------+-----+------+-------------------+--------
    191 | 1 | 0 | root | haveged (deleted) | haveged

Even if I perform the request immediately after having booted and logged
in. Obviously there can be other entries as well (after an update) but
it's this one which looks very strange.

https://issihosts.com/haveged/ explains what it is, but the claim "unpredictable random number generator" feels a bit spurious because
this behaviour is far too predictable.
(ok, that last part is misleading)

Looks like I was not completely clear, haveged is not being updated.
I have just checked and the level 1.9.14-150600.9.5-x86_64 is the
original level from the upgrade Leap 15.5 -> 15.6, it is also the only
level in any of my 15.6 repositories.
What I also find a bit strange is that the pid in my display is 190 or
191 whilst you have 878. Either your system starts over four times as
many processes on a boot or your haveged was terminated and restarted.
