    Had to burn me a new Leap-15.5 frisby so out came
    k3b to do the honors. VERIFICATION having been preselected
    as usual the job got done, no errors. Next, without
    even opening the DVD drive, I booted into the install
    and had the media checked. Lo and behold the dreaded
    red label said "This DVD is scrap", haven't seen that
    survivor from the Slackware ncurses installer since
    about 4.4.

    Completed the install anyway, with limited packages to
    be on the safe side, no related issues so far.
