From Newsgroup: alt.os.linux.slackware

Hi, from time immemorial I have this line in
/etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc:

SOURCE=http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/:OFFICIAL

A few weeks ago this source stopped working:

root@goon:~# slapt-get --update
Retrieving package data [http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/]...Failed to download:
HTTP response code said error
Sources failed to download, correct sources and rerun --update

What baffles me is that http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/
works perfectly with curl, lynx, chromium, etc. I don't see a debug
option for slapt-get, so I can't figure out what's going on.

Any hints? Thanks

...in the meantime, everything works fine with SOURCE=https://slackware.nl/people/alien/sbrepos/15.0/x86_64/:OFFICIAL
even if ChangeLog.txt is missing. However, slackware.nl has the latest packages as stated in
http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/ChangeLog.txt
