jumping on the rust bandwagon without understanding its limitations and non/short backwards compatibility has ensured it wont be 6 years waiting
this time, crikey cant even build clamav now days and last version of it
that was supported without the rust virus is now formally EOL too, so
said provider has already had to move several machines to debian for
critical ops, and a decision to move everything else there mid this year
is ticking away, business must win out over loyalty
