• slpkg issue?

I tried to tweak a slackware install with slpkg but most of the
attempted and mostly music-related apps with ghosted icons in the bottom
of the right deskbar failed. The error is shown in the screenshot:

    qjackctl
    qsynth
    rosegarden
    audacity
    yoshimi
    tuxguitar
    sonicvisualiser
    jack_capture

    + google-earth-pro?

    TIA for any hints

The error message in the screenshot seems to indicate that something is
wrong with the python code within slpkg itself.

Has your slpkg installation ever worked without such error messages? If
so, have you since then upgraded to a perhaps broken version of slpkg? Or
have you perhaps upgraded any python packages in your Slackware
    installation?

Which version of Slackware are you running?

Did you install python3-pythondialog version 3.5.3 using the SlackBuild
    script from https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/python/python3-pythondialog/ ?

Did you install python3-tomlkit 0.13.2 using the SlackBuild script from https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/python/python3-tomlkit/ ?

Did you install slpkg version 5.2.1 using thh SlackBuild script from https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/system/slpkg/ ?

    regards Henrik
