Is there a way to make a link/shortcut on the desktop that will load
File Manager PCManFM, open it, and load address
    ftp://192.168.0.131:3815/ ? thanks,

That's like the router administration page or something ? :-)

What make and model of router is this ?

There might already be a model-specific web page with some details for it.

You can get some info on FTP here.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol

"FTP may run in active or passive mode, which determines
how the data connection is established.[9]"

no it's just to connect to my phone for file transfer. I'm just trying
to save a few 'clicks'. :) no big deal if it can't be done. I'll just
have to load PCManFM and type in the address

    From top of my head.
Make desktop launcher for PCManFM on desktop.
Menu/ right click on PCManFM/ Add to desktop
    In PCManFM
    Configure to open in ftp://192.168.0.131:3815/
    Like I have for Nemo.
nemo Downloads %, so it opens in Downloads
    let me guess
    PCManFM ftp://192.168.0.131:3815 %
