    Has something changed to use aria2c as your downloader
    rather than wget? All I can do is quote excerpts from
    aria1c's manual page.

    man aria2c

    aria2c - The ultra fast download utility

    EXIT STATUS
    Because aria2 can handle multiple downloads at once, it encounters lots
    of errors in a session. aria2 returns the following exit status based
    on the last error encountered.

    4 If aria2 saw the specified number of "resource not found" error.
    See --max-file-not-found option.

    --max-file-not-found=<NUM>
    If aria2 receives "file not found" status from the remote
    HTTP/FTP servers NUM times without getting a single byte, then
    force the download to fail. Specify 0 to disable this option.
    This options is effective only when using HTTP/FTP servers. The
    number of retry attempt is counted toward --max-tries, so it
    should be configured too.

    Default: 0

    What are your configuration settings for aria2c ?

    Cheers!

    Double check the settings. On my system ...

    [root@a14 ~]# head -n 5 /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg
    {
    downloader: wget
    verify-rpm: 1
    xml-info: always
    }
    [root@a14 ~]# rpm -q wget
    wget-1.25.0-2.3.mga10

    this is what I get:
    [root@localhost ~]# head -n 5 /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg

    }

    Core\ Release\ (Installer) cdrom://x86_64/media/core {

    That shows the downloader has not been set to wget. The default is aria2.

    Make sure wget is installed, then in rpmdrake select "Options" then select "Media Manager". Once that opens select "Options", then select "Global Options".
    In the Global Options, use the drop down box to select wget, then select Ok to close the global options and then again to close the media manager, then again to close rpmdrake.

    Thank you for your help.
    True, only now wget is installed...during installation I thought that it
    is the default...
