    Hello All!

Did report this before at least as far as v9 but since updating to v10 and
in general it is working I still do not have a EFI partition as far as boot install is aware - just produce a failure and request to notify Mageia.

Now I run a M.2 SSD for primary boot parttion and data along with 3 HDD's
that hold data and older boot versions ie., v8, v9 etc. SDA has a EFI
    system of 100M.

As for the SSD this is the o/p from fdisk -l /dev/nvme0n1

    isk /dev/nvme0n1: 931.51 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors

Disk model: Samsung SSD 990 PRO 1TB
    Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
    Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    Disklabel type: gpt
    Disk identifier: 7F4A4E38-FFD7-4AB8-9E92-3A3530D3A074

Device Start End Sectors Size Type

    /dev/nvme0n1p1 2048 4129 2082 1M BIOS boot
    /dev/nvme0n1p2 6144 105476129 105469986 50.3G Linux filesystem /dev/nvme0n1p3 105478144 113864737 8386594 4G Linux swap /dev/nvme0n1p4 113866752 1739882495 1626015744 775.3G Linux filesystem /dev/nvme0n1p5 1739882496 1843578879 103696384 49.4G Linux filesystem /dev/nvme0n1p6 1843578880 1949351935 105773056 50.4G Linux filesystem /dev/nvme0n1p7 1949351936 1949571071 219136 107M EFI System

Now P7 only contains System Volume Information folder with no content.

Clearly the boot installer is not seeing partition P7 but it is not
    mounted.

Now, if I reboot for a new kernel it will only boot to 6.6.141-desktop and
all others are ignored as grub is not set up, So how do I fix this problem?
The above tested by running uname -a giving :

    Linux applewood.study2 6.6.141-desktop-1.mga9 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat
    May 23 20:28:01 UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The content of /boot is :

Simply, using MCC Install boot fails and I need a fix please.
