  • Mageia10 Plasma problem

    Environment: Mageia10/Plasma/X11, but currently using IceWM
    Can't launch an application. When I click on the Application launcher
    icon, I get the expected list of categories, However, when I click on
    one, say Recent Applications, the list appears fleetingly, disappearing
    before I can move the mouse to select one.
    Not a problem covered in Errata or by anyone else (so far), so it seems
    like something neds uninstalling/reinstalling.
    Any ideas?

    if you have another partition to try it on
    or last resort, wipe and start again
    I have the Mag 10 ISO but I'm holding out
    I usually do until FF gets to old
