From Newsgroup: alt.os.linux.debian

I'm running MATE 1.16.2 on Debian 9.13
[ will update when new hardware available ;]
On the main task-bar I had gone to
System->Preferences->Personal->Preferred Applications
chosen the "Office" tab and clicked "Help".
The second paragraph states:

Preferred Applications can be found by going to System ru+ Preferences ru+ Preferred Applications.

HOWEVER, on my system, "Preferred Applications" is not shown as an option.
Bug or operator error?
Response time not critical as I have accomplished my goal of specifying preferred application to open PDFs.
Thank you developers, MATE works MY way.
