git repos are easily restored, but the github value-adds don't get
mirrrored to the clients. eg: the bugtrackers and other stuff github

I've had fatal probs with Arch derivs ... after
a year they won't update properly. Eventually
had to dump 'em all and use Deb derivs instead.
No more Manjaro boxes.
Despite some more-recent irritations, I'll still
rec vanilla Deb over all other current distros.
MX seems to be The Best deriv right now, and
has been for a LONG time.
