He memorably played "the Ripper" and himself in Last Action Hero, an
underrated masterpiece. That's what I remember him for.

He had a small but memorable role in the (exasperating but often fun)
TV series The Blacklist. It didn't even occur to me that it was him
until later when I looked him up.
