Carrie Anne Fleming, the Canadian actress known for her roles in
horror productions such as "iZombie" and "Supernatural," died Feb. 26
in Sidney, British Columbia. She was 51.
Jim Beaver, her co-star on "Supernatural," confirmed Fleming died of
breast cancer complications to Variety.
Fleming was born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia. She later
attended Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria, B.C., and studied
drama at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company
in the same city.
Fleming broke into films and television with a recurring role on
"Viper" and in Adam Sandler's "Happy Gilmore." =A0She continued to act
in small roles before director Dario Argento cast her in his show
"Masters of Horror" in 2005. Fleming played a disfigured woman with
cannibalistic tendencies in her titular episode, "Jenifer." She made
appearances in various horror shows, including "The Tooth Fairy" and
"Bloodsuckers." =A0
Fleming also had a recurring role on the popular horror-drama CW show
"Supernatural" as Karen Singer, the wife of main character Bobby
Singer, played by Beaver. =A0She later appeared in the 2015 TV film
"The Unauthorized Full House Story," which followed the
behind-the-scenes making of the hit sitcom. Fleming played the mother
of "Full House" star Candace Cameron Bure, who appeared on the show as
DJ Tanner.
More recently, she had a recurring role for five seasons as Candy Bake=

on the CW's "iZombie." =A0Fleming also appeared in several BC stage
productions, including "Noises Off," "Romeo and Juliet," "Steel
Magnolias," and "Fame."
Fleming is survived by her daughter Madalyn Rose (Max). =A0A memorial
service will be announced at a later date.
