• Len Garry, the Quarrymen, 84

I don't know much about the Quarrymen, but if Wikipedia is accurate, he
left shortly after Harrison joined. McCartney posted an undated Quarrymen
photo where I can make out McCartney, Lennon, and three other guys. Garry
is said to have played the "tea chest bass," which would make him the one standing in the back, behind Paul.

"My dear old mate from the Quarrymen, Len Garry, has passed away. He was
a lovely guy and IrCOm sad to see him go but glad that we had so many fun
times together. Rest in Peace Len, Love Paul" https://www.facebook.com/PaulMcCartney/posts/my-dear-old-mate-from-the-quarrymen-len-garry-has-passed-away-he-was-a-lovely-gu/1472226957601300/

The surviving Quarrymen are Colin Hanton and Rod Davis.

You omitted a rather famous one.

Previously mentioned and better known for his work under
other band names, unlike Hanton and Davis.

    Bla bla bla snipped.

Explaining why you made a false statement doesn't make it less false.

Your choice to use a definition of "Quarrymen" beyond that at http://originalquarrymen.co.uk/html/biographies.html
doesn't make my statement false just because I don't concur
    in your definition.
