Iranian state media confirms the death of Mojtaba Khamenei,
son of the Supreme Leader, in the U.S.-Israeli strike on Tehran.
The move ends speculation of a hereditary succession and leaves
the regime in a leadership crisis.

The death of Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of the Supreme
Leader and a man long groomed to inherit the throne of the
Islamic Republic, has been officially confirmed by Iranian
state media outlets. The news follows the massive precision
strike on the leadership compound in Tehran on February 28,
    2026.

Mojtaba Khamenei was widely considered the most powerful figure
behind the scenes in Iran, controlling significant portions of
the IRGC and the intelligence apparatus. His death represents
more than just a family loss for the regime; it is the destruction
of the hereditary succession plan that had been quietly in
    development for over a decade.

    * The Strike: The compound was targeted by multiple precision-guided
munitions during the joint U.S.-Israeli opening salvo.

    * Casualties: Reports indicate that Mojtaba was in the same
secure bunker as his father, Ali Khamenei, at the time of the
    impact. Neither survived.

    * Dynastic Collapse: With Mojtaba gone, there is no clear
"Khamenei" heir remaining to consolidate the loyalist factions
of the Basij and the Revolutionary Guard.

The elimination of Mojtaba, coupled with the deaths of several
high-ranking generals, has left the newly formed Interim Council
in a precarious position. Hardline factions within the Assembly
of Experts are reportedly struggling to find a replacement who
commands the same level of fear and respect as the Khamenei
    family.

Western intelligence agencies are characterizing this as a
"decapitation strike" from which the current clerical structure
    may never recover.

The situation in Tehran remains chaotic, with reports of sporadic
clashes between different security factions as the struggle
    for internal control begins.

This worked out better than I thought.

Six now. Trump doesn't seem impressed and is showing an 'Hey, that's
what happens in a war. There will likely be more.' attitude.

Six now. Chump doesn't seem impressed and is showing an 'Hey, that's

That's what people like about Chump. His honesty.

Let's be honest here. A president has to more or less not care about 5 or
6 (or even hundreds or thousands) of soldiers dying. That *is* what
happens in war. They *have* to see the big picture and realize that, yes,
war is hell, but the mission is what counts. If we had not taken this
attitude in years past, well, we'd all be speaking German now.

But most president have learned to lie about it. They fake sympathy, and
we all eat it up. And this is as it should be.

But Chump doesn't bother with such trivialities. And that what people like about him. He behaves like a honest 6 year old (*). They like that.

(*) Who hasn't learned to fake it like adults are do (and are supposed to do). --
