Violet Brumley Hensley,born October 21st 1916,
married 1935,widowed 1997,died August 7th 2026
according to People magazine,ky3.com,and others.
She was known for hand-carving country fiddles.
The Wikipedes and the cited sources say she appeared
on "The Beverly Hillbillies" but link to an IMDb
article that does not include this credit...her
reported 1970 National Geographic appearance was
not indexed and I'm not about to check through my
1970 issues on the fly.
I suppose the oldest person known for something
other than being old these days is now Sir
Lloyd Geering.
