The Portland Police BureaurCOs Human Trafficking Unit found the victims
during enforcement activity along the 82nd Avenue corridor starting on Wednesday, April 15, according to police.
Each girl has been offered support to get away from their traffickers
through city services and victimsrCO advocates, police said. The Oregon Department of Human Services was also called in to help reunite some
victims with out-of-state families or place them into foster care.
On Wednesday, the Portland City Council approved an ordinance that seeks
to hold business owners accountable for human trafficking, drug
