• an active asm NG, so glad

    Hi folks -

I'm beginning to dig into 8085 asm for a major (to me) maker project and
know I will be seeking advice and guidance from the community at
large. I perused a dozen other ng's for assembly and this was the first
    one that had activity.

Day saved. Though, currently, I'm not needing assistance as I'm early on
    in the process.

Not that active, these days. Still, days are getting longer (up North,
    anyhow)

Doesn't have to have too many people to be satisfactory.

But why an 8085 and not a simple microcontroller like:

    https://www.microchip.com/en-us/product/ATtiny85

or if you need more IO pins:

    https://www.microchip.com/en-us/product/ATmega32

You only need a 5V power supply, everything else
    is already on the chip.

The 8085 is the chip powering my tandy laptops and I have an
interest in creating new stuff for the platform.

My model 200 happens to be a daily driver.
