    I've been on Usenet for a few months, chatting here and there and it's
    been a great replacement to social media.

    I just got setup on IRC and joined EFnet and Libera.

    Some channels dead, some alive, some NSFW.

    I work in IT and I've recently begun switching everything at home to
    linux. Stuck with windows on one machine because of Anti-Cheat for a game.

    What are some recommended channels to hangout that are Safe for Work?

    Safe for work? Pretty much anything. I don't think NSFW ascii-art is
    popular these days, is it? :P
