Hi,
I have a link to video parts of a page on my site:
https://www.dalekelly.org/weblog.html#video
Just did a Google Chrome update.
When I go to the link, the video part of the page doesn't stop loading.
I can't play the videos. And it doesn't even show the entering image
It works fine on the Microsoft Edge I have.
It has always worked before on Google Chrome.
I have CSS on my site. That is why I included the stylesheets group.
What do you think?
Try clearing the browser cache then retest. If same, clear cache, clear
cookie, then retest.
Are you using any browser extension?
Also check with Chromium web browser.
Thank You !
I will have a look into these.
The Edge Browser I am using has this in Settings:
"This browser is made possible by the Chromium open source project and
other open source software.
Microsoft Edge
-- 2025 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved."
Here is the site from my original post about not functioning:
https://www.dalekelly.org/weblog.html#video
Just downloaded and installed Google Chrome.
Google Chrome is up to date
Version 137.0.7151.41 (Official Build) (64-bit)
this functions.
When I click on the Chrome icon it goes to Google's version. I have to
click on the Edge icon to get Microsoft's Chrome Edge
I didn't get Microsoft's version number for when it didn't function.
What information I am left with is:
"This browser is made possible by the Chromium open source project and
other open source software.
Microsoft Edge
-- 2025 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved."
I updated Microsoft Chrome Edge and now it functions:
Microsoft Edge
Version 136.0.3240.92 (Official build) (64-bit)
"This browser is made possible by the Chromium open source project and
other open source software.
Microsoft Edge
-- 2025 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved."
Once I updated Microsoft's Chromium Edge and clicked on the Internet
Explorer icon, it loaded Edge.
I remember Microsoft saying Internet Explorer wasn't going to be supported.
Thank You !
