Job Duties and Responsibilities
Delivering physical and virtual infrastructure to support the entire
Sling TV service.
rCo Maintaining a highly available nationwide network of video
delivery and metadata systems.
rCo Meeting and exceeding the requirements of our customers with
highly reliable and high performance infrastructure systems.
rCo Continuing our efforts to realize a robust hybrid cloud
Infrastructure.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Have 5+ years of professional enterprise infrastructure
engineering experience, building and managing highly available
enterprise grade networks.
rCo Have 5+ years of experience with network infrastructure including
most of the following components:
rua Routers / Switches (Arista & Brocade)
rua Firewalls (Palo Alto)
rua Load Balancers (F5, Brocade)
rua AWS Networking
rua Wireless (Aruba)
rCo Have 5+ years of experience with the following networking
technologies:
rua Routing Protocols (BGP & OSPF)
rua VRFs, VLANs, VRRP, LACP, MLAG
rua TACACS / Rancid / GIT
rua IPSec VPN
rua DNS / DHCP
rua NAT / SNAT
rua IP Multicast
rua VPC, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, ALB/ELB, Security
Groups
rCo Follow Network Architecture standards
rCo Experience scripting to automate infrastructure tasks (Python,
Bash, other)
rCo Have a Working knowledge of Linux networking constructs
rCo Have a 4-year college degree in Computer Science / Information
Technology/ Engineering OR equivalent professional experience
rCo Be available to work onsite out of our American Fork, UT office.

etc.
rCo Core platform services: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher,
Consul, AWS, Jaeger, gRPC, Istio, GCP, NGINX, Varnish, etc
rCo CI/CD & DevSecOps tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, OWASP,
Vault, Salt Stack, Terraform, etc.
rCo Automated testing of applications, Continuous Integration (CI),
TDD, and/or BDD
rCo Highly self-motivated, driven & hard working.
rCo Not afraid to fail or share your perspective.
