  • Richter or Merkel ?

    In the film San Andreas, do we use the Richter scale or the Merkel scale to measure earthquakes?

    Richter. A quick search for "Merkel scale" gets lots of results for
    cancer intensity.

    So, the mind of Angela Merkel in the present, is transferred into
    Giuseppe Mercalli on March 19, 1914.

    Unlike in our time line, Mercalli either manages to not knock over
    a paraffin lamp, or also manages to fend off attackers trying to
    steal some money, and lives to March 20th reasonably safe and sound.

    What changes from our time line would result from this?

    If your mind now were transferred to Giuseppe Mercalli instead of
    Angela Merkel's , what changes from our time line would result from this?

    It's my mistake. After a brief search we find the Mercalli Scale
