• *.bofh.team backend failure

    Hello everyone,

Last night (03:47 UTC 15/08/2026) one of the pool's backend servers
suffered a catastrophic disk failure, sending the entire server into
recovery mode. The RAID and ZFS pool ensured that no history was lost,
but after replacing the damaged disks, both the RAID and ZFS storage are
    now rebuilding.

Everything should be completed around 23:30 UTC 15/08, and the server
will be relinked as available in the pool when the system reports that
    all checks have passed successfully.
Users may experience slow connections or slower delivery of articles or
worse, unable to grep groups/articles. If anyone notices slowdowns or
similar issues please be patient, everything will be resolved within a
few hours (the frontend is currently working with only two datacenters
instead of three, without load balancing).

    Sincerely

Would you like me to pay for a new hard disk or anything? I really

Thank you for letting us all know.
We appreciate your largesse and kindness.

There are only two free no-registration servers that I am aware of.
    Yours is half of them.

Thank you for caring about privacy.
