• Eternal-September down (?)

E-S seems to be down (all day). Status is showing problems: <https://www.eternal-september.org/serverstatus.php?language=en>

It's a good thing I still have NIN and when they will shut down I'm
probably going to use Astraweb (bought a 10 GiB block eons ago).

All green now and it's working. (Kismet?)

The administrator has been reconfiguring something.

I think it was yesterday night (Hong Kong Time). It's back online now.

Or was it the firewall? Or the country that governs that firewall? :)

The server is in Helsinki, Finland.

Wolfgang, the administrator, is in another country, and he logs in
    *remotely* to configure the server.

A firewall would be a non-useful thing to flip, if you
were remotely administering the server :-)

This is not like running a server in your basement
at home, like Gallaxial. These are real servers, rental
servers with bandwidth limits and monthly fees.

AND... it seems that I could list
    more newsgroups after that, after
    I refresh Thunderbird's E-S account.
