I would ask all remops who are reading this: If your remailer gets its
stats and keys from Mixmin pinger please switch to a different pinger >immediately. Zax's services at Mixmin are in bad shape. Including his
YAMN pinger and Mixmaster pinger. So if you continue to rely on his
stats and keys your remailer will also reflect poorly in the stats.

Zax has always kept a sub-section of his privacy services - remailers
and nym server - inside an encrypted partition on his VPS at OVH in
Germany. I think it is that partition that has run out of disk space >(Systemd log files left unattended can grow quite large, for example)
and has resulted in the failure of those services on the encrypted >partition. Services not on the encrypted partion - web server and nntp >server - seem to be unaffected.
Without confirmation from Zax it's impossible to know for sure what has >transpired. But that's my guess.

"news.mixmin.net" also seems to be working, again, using omnimix on
port 563, socks 5, implicit ssl . . . sampled newsgroup headers and
downloaded a few articles . . . mixmin must be running on autopilot
