I would ask all remops who are reading this: If your remailer gets its

YAMN pinger and Mixmaster pinger. So if you continue to rely on his

Zax has always kept a sub-section of his privacy services - remailers
and nym server - inside an encrypted partition on his VPS at OVH in
Germany. I think it is that partition that has run out of disk space >(Systemd log files left unattended can grow quite large, for example)
and has resulted in the failure of those services on the encrypted >partition. Services not on the encrypted partion - web server and nntp >server - seem to be unaffected.
Without confirmation from Zax it's impossible to know for sure what has >transpired. But that's my guess.

Just change it to 119 and problem solved. There is no need to have
secure connection to send public messages. If Zionists are intercepting
your posts then don't criticise Israel. Just say they are doing a
wonderful job to kill all Muslim babies. They can then have Middle East
for themselves including all the oil wells.

Trump has a Jew as son in law and Starmer has a Jew wife so no wonder
they supply weapons to Israel to finish the job.

Mixmin is available on Port 563 only. It's "Fix the Certificate"
or "Go Home". There is no 119 option, not on Mixmin. There
are 119 options on a number of other free servers.

The Mixmin server has a design intent, all round. Having
Port 563 only, is by design. It fits with the other
services also running on the server.

Everything you need to know, is "on the Mixmin web server" :-)
The only problem is, you can't connect to the Mixmin web
server right now, either. If the server is damaged bad
enough, maybe the admin can't even log in.

    Ping is working though.

    ping mixmin.net

Pinging mixmin.net [144.76.182.167] with 32 bytes of data:
    Reply from 144.76.182.167: bytes=32 time=104ms TTL=47

All hail Ping, the God of Network Services.

"For all your Ping needs, just dial 144.76.182.167"

Ping has 100% uptime on Mixmin.

Here is the block diagram for Mixmin this morning.

Maybe Tony could write a series of posts, an Ode to Mixmin

I see the server has been repaired.

    The interface is working.

The setup is the usual way.
Assuming there is no "certificate trouble" on your end.

    https://i.postimg.cc/6pMNJjzn/setup-mixmin.gif

The server is working quickly right now, making an attractive
posting host. However, the speed varies, and it will not
stay fast like this forever. It uses a limited disk
space on purpose. This means you can test it today,
but it may not work quickly on any future days.

Thanks Mr. Crook for responding, where I'll check out if the common text newsgroups are available for posting using news.mixmin.net:563 via nntp.

We all appreciate your efforts especially given the spammers had caused you grief when netfront & Paolo were forced offline (as you were by your ISP).

Yes, it does run pretty much on autopilot. It doesn't help that its
hosting company appear to have blacklisted my own IP addresses.
The server pretty much died when /var filled up. This was caused by me
using a non-standard mail.info logfile that wasn't handled by logrotate.
When it died, it killed my yamn pinger which in-turn uncovered a yamn
bug. If no remailers are available, it crashes when attempting to send >dummies. I fixed that issue and merged a branch that addresses some
Go static checks in yamn. Maybe when I retire I'll have the time to
properly tidy it up. Not long to wait! Maybe.
Remailers and pinger should be recovering now.

"blacklisting" ips could be due to some technical issue . . . been
learning about public dns servers for use with omnimix and dynamic
dns, where some servers are shown "blacklisted" (e.g. opendns.com)
    on ipfire <https://www.ipfire.org/docs/dns/public-servers> because
they are "used in schools and homes" ... reminiscent of south park

yet it could be that some ips are singled out because of political
and religious coercion ("church of" lawyers, guns and money, etc.)
but nowadays with big brother's "a.i" watching the entire universe
forever, it's pointless to use such archaic epithets as "blacklist"
(resistance isn't futile ... it was never an option to begin with)
