Erm - news.mixmin.net comes up, no new articles but recent/old ones can
be read. Cours,e not much use in that except for archival purposes at

Steve shutdown port 119 on September 24 last year, ergo we can't send him feeds, rather than tell us (or respond to emails) he's had enough, he's
just done a Paolo, and yes he is still alive and kicking, can be seen on certain technical forums.

Mixmin.net is still in Top1000, both in current stats and current list
of contributors. So it's still running and peering with someone. I guess
Steve is just tired of dealing with people and their problems, or he
have some issues IRL, and simply have no time or energy for Usenet.

Nobody should be using mixmin by now, and anyone with half a clue should know it wont be back.

(even if he did want to return, because of his actions, he may find it
hard to get peering again, we wont be feeding him thats for sure)

Your a month or two out, replying to a near 10 month old thread, yes
mixmin started accepting feeds about 2 months ago, there was/is still no actual word from him, looking at reason for why someones posts were
rejected I noticed his server trying to connect, not sure how long he was trying so re-enabled him and AFAIK stable since.
