I forgot to list one wine at last WednesdayrCOs picnic/concert, the 1989 Domaine de la Tour Montagny 1er blanc. Because it was pretty forgettable. Some nuttiness as yourCOd expect from 30+
Chalonaise white, but alive, but without any real reason for living. Bruised apples, nuts, autumn leaves, clipped finish.C+/B-
Friday Chicken, shanghai tips, rice with furikake, caprese
    2008 Barthod Les Cras Chambolle-Musigny 1er
Black cherry, spicy, citrus zest, tar. Big but with balance, very enjoyable. A-/B+
Sunday oysters, grilled whole mackerel, corn, salad
2019 Huet Le Mont Vouvray Sec
Too young, but I put in a decanter and it shows well fairly shortly. Green apple, lemon, wool, really framed by zesty acids, excellent with both oysters and the oily fish. B+ with potential
Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
