Tuesday was haddock, spinach, and chickpeas in a chipotle/adobo broth as well as salad, wine was the 2021 Max Ferd. Richter Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett . I shoulda bought more. Limeade, green apple, minty herbs. Electric kabinett, piercing but integrated acidity, very good length. B+/A-
Mushroom risotto with peas, salad, and the 2005 Trapet rCLOstrearCY Gevrey-Chambertin. Earthy, black plum and red cranberry, crunchy, no hurry. B+
Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
