Produce giant Taylor Farms has released a full list of recalled products
after a cyclospora outbreak that has sickened hundreds of people in five states.

The company has voluntarily removed all iceberg lettuce sourced from
central Mexico from the US market obecause it has the potential to be contaminated with Cyclospora,o according to recall information on its
    website.

Taylor Farms said the shredded iceberg product was distributed from June
29 through July 16 in 27 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut,
Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North
Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Historical Congressional Giving: While corporate contributions to
federal candidates are prohibited, the political action committees
(PACs) associated with Taylor Farms, its employees, and owners have
heavily supported Democratic candidates in some election cycles.
Historical data shows that up to 95% of their congressional
contributions went to Democrats and only about 5% to Republicans.

MAGA Inc. Donation: Taylor Fresh Foods donated $1 million to MAGA Inc.,
a federal hybrid super PAC that supports Donald Trump's political
campaigns. This contribution, which followed the 2024 elections,
attracted significant public attention when the FDA subsequently delayed
the implementation of the Food Traceability Rule from the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)

Not their first rodeo of contamination either, is it?

The produce supplier has been connected to E. coli in onions and an
earlier cyclosporiasis outbreak in salad mix.
