The whole new trilogy opens with noemarxist theory. Pastiche, nostalgia
as main postmodern category, criticism of capitalism and big business. They is why they did it. The whole saga is about family but family "values" changed. Also they obviously read Frederick Jameson's article
on Sw amd postmodernism. Look if from this point of view and you will
see logic in it.

The so-called Third Trilogy simply rips-off everything that George
Lucas has already done. Mainly that's because JarJar Abrams is just a
lazy, talentless hack. Everything he touches is complete rubbish.

Lazy, my leg. He's ustopable trash machine. By he is not a writer, not only one. There is hivemind behind new starwars movies. We don't know all the names. Jj ruined startrek also. And he TWICE played there sabotage trek. Sabotage trek, see? He sabotaged Startrek. And now he does the same with starwars, maybe he's russian spy.

could add it. To retcon whole 789 movies and it makes sence since fans
are not that happy with it. Disney could open that option and they
really could move sw into sci-fi genre from fantasy.

Guess that
theory is out the door..

Love looking at old theories after the movie comes out to see who was
on the money... or not
