Star Wars Announces New Way for Franchise's Biggest Fans
to Experience Original Trilogy

Star Wars fans will soon have a new way to experience the
original film trilogy, with even more releases planned for
next year. While George Lucas' trilogy has been remastered
and rereleased before, Lucasfilm is taking a different
approach aimed at readers and audiobook listeners.
Following this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Lucasfilm
announced that it will release the first unabridged
audiobook editions of the original Star Wars novelizations.
The novels will be narrated by Marc Thompson, and all three
will be released on February 2, 2027. Beyond that, multiple
new books were also announced, including graphic novels.

Lucasfilm will release the first unabridged audiobook
editions of the original Star Wars trilogy novelizations,
narrated by Marc Thompson, in February 2027.
