• After Darth Vader died, did Luke tell anyone that Vader was his =?UTF-8?Q?father=3F?=

    Luke Told Leia 'N+A

In canon, this is made clear in Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray. By this point, years have passed since the fall of the Empire, and Leia is a respected political figure in the New Republic. But the truth about her parentage is something she keeps buried.

In the novel, Leia reflects on her experiences with Darth Vader during the war, her capture aboard the Devastator, her interrogation, and being forced to witness the destruction of Alderaan. She remembers the hatred she carried for Vader, how that hatred became a source of strength just to survive what he put her through.

And then she thinks of him differently.

    Not as Darth Vader.

    But as her father.

The important detail here is that Leia already knows the truth. She knows Vader was Anakin Skywalker. And that knowledge didn't come from the galaxy, the New Republic, or Imperial records. It came from Luke.

Did she know about her brother after learning about her father? This is
even more interesting!! I think she didn't, because that would destroy
Yoda's effort to isolate her from Luke.

LUKE: I can't kill my own father.

BEN: Then the Emperor has already won. You were our only hope.

    LUKE: Yoda spoke of another.

BEN: The other he spoke of is your twin sister.

LUKE: But I have no sister.

BEN: Hmm. To protect you both from the Emperor, you were hidden
from your father when you were born. The Emperor knew, as
I did, if Anakin were to have any offspring, they would be
a threat to him. That is the reason why your sister remains

Of course, originally Leia wasn't Luke's sister. George Lucas' original
vague story plan was for Luke to go in search of his sister on the
other side of the galaxy and together defeat the Emperoro as the third trilogy, but while writing "Return of the Jedi", much of that third
trilogy got squashed down and changed, so Leia became Luke's sister
    instead.

George Lucas was writing a new third trilogy (reportedly and stupidly
starring a resurrected Darth Maul) when he sold the whole lot to Disney
... who then threw out his ideas and wrote their own even worse third
trilogy, which was the lazy gender-swapped rehash of the original
trilogy that we ultimately ended up with on-screen.

I guess I was too young to understand these dialogue and to link up
things. Also, the original 3 episodes were produced years apart. I
possibly forgot the details and failed to recall and link them.

Thank you for writing such a long reply!! :)

No, Maul was indeed resurrected in The Clone Wars cartoon.

Yes, and it was a stupid thing to do there too. The idea reportedly
originated with George Lucas' ideas for the third trilogy, but was
later reworked for the animated "Clones Wars" show. :-)

Since then he's appeared a few times in different shows and is about to
start his own animated series "Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord"

Yuzong Vong? The beyond-galaxy war race who didn't have the force or
something. For me it was a horrible concept.

I tried reading one of those books and couldn't get past an early
    chapter. This was years ago.

I couldn't read the books because most of them were crap. New Jedi
series, nope. I did read Shatterpoint and the Darth Bane trilogy plus a
    few others.
