Oh NO! One of the fools in charge of the awful mess 'Lost' is now
making a Star Wars show ... Disney flushes the franchise even further
    down the toilet. :-(

New Star Wars Show Being Written By Lost Showrunner
    ---------------------------------------------------
Carlton Cuse has been tapped to write a new Star Wars show
    from Lucasfilm.

Cuse served as the showrunner of ABC's Lost alongside
Damon Lindelof. He also co-created Amazon Prime Video's
Jack Ryan series with Graham Roland and has worked on
shows such as Bates Motel, The Strain, Colony, Locke & Key,
Five Days at Memorial, and Pulse, among other titles.

What do we know about the new Star Wars show from the Jack
    Ryan creator?

According to Jeff Sneider's The InSneider, Cuse and his
son, Nick Cuse, are now writing a new Star Wars series for
    Lucasfilm and Disney+.

Plot details are being kept under wraps at this time,
meaning it's unclear who the show will focus on or where
it will be set within the Star Wars timeline.

Nick Cuse has worked on shows such as The Leftovers,
Maniac, Watchmen, Calls, and Station Eleven. He also
co-wrote the screenplay for 2020's The Hunt, which was
directed by Craig Zobel. This marks the first time that
Carlton and Nick Cuse have collaborated on a project
    together.

While fans wait to see what Carlton and Nick's Star Wars
series turns out to be, Lucasfilm is now getting ready to
launch Andor Season 2. Created by Tony Gilroy, the new
season will premiere on Disney+ with three new episodes
on April 22, 2025. Three new episodes will continue to
drop weekly on Tuesdays until the finale then arrives on
    May 13, 2025.

Meanwhile, Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian & Grogu
currently has a May 22, 2026, release date, while it was
additionally recently announced that Shawn Levy's Star
Wars movie was moving forward in development as it has
been given a May 28, 2027, release date. Starring Ryan
Gosling, that film is now officially titled Star Wars:
    Starfighter.

A number of other Star Wars projects remain in various
stages of development, including the Taika Waititi movie,
    the Rey film, and more.

We went past the bottom when Disney bought the franchise. We're deep
into the sewers now, much of that due to the Politically Correct idiot Kathleen Kennedy. :-(

This reminds me of yesterday's game six Houston vs Oakland. Houston was controlling the game, and Oakland simply didn't have the energy or will
to outplay their rival. They relied on a barrage of desperate
    three-point shots which, predictably, missed.

Disney is throwing three-point shots in a game they've lost.

Lucas ought to gather a group of investors and buy lucas arts back from
Disney. Fifteen years ago, I thought it would've been impossible to
outdo Lucas in creating shit and I was clearly wrong.

At least we have Clone Wars.

The overlords have tons of robotics so they could do tons of stuff using automation, but still need human slave labor?
