Around 1970, I was in kindergarten in a suburb of New York City. For
part of one semester, I and at least one other child from my elementary
school would be driven from the school to another facility for what my
parents called the Teacher Mom program. We had our own cubicles and individual tutoring. At noon, we would be driven back.
I've become interested in learning more about this part of my elementary school education, but so far I have learned nothing about it. I emailed
the school district, and they had no information. Googling yielded
nothing. One would think there would be SOMETHING even after 56 years
about something that seemed like a big deal at the time (to a
6-year-old), yet it as been surprisingly hard to find any information. Returning to Usenet is a long shot's long shot's long shot's long shot,
but I can't think of anything else at the moment. If anyone knows
anything that can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate
it. Thanks.
