A clueless Florida university commencement speaker has been
loudly booed after she championed the 'AI revolution' to a
room full of media students.

Real estate development executive Gloria Caulfield was caught
off guard when her tone-deaf speech about artificial intelligence
was loudly condemned by the crowd.

Caulfield, who is vice president of strategic alliances at
Tavistock Development Company, was one of the six speakers
at the University of Central Florida (UFC) commencement
ceremony on May 8.

'We are living in a time of profound change. That's an
understatement, right? Change is exciting. And let's face
it: change can be daunting,' she said.

'The rise of artificial intelligence is the next Industrial
Revolution,' Caulfield told the room full of recent media
and communications graduates who must now compete with the
technology for their first jobs.

Caulfield's comment was met with an avalanche of boos from
the crowd, prompting her to spin around in shock.

'Oh! What happened?' the real estate executive asked as she
laughed while turning her face away from the crowd. 'Okay. I
struck a chord. May I finish?' she continued.

UCF is a large college in Orlando Florida that's
kinda heavy on sci/tech.

In any case, college grads are suddenly finding that
the careers they studied for may totally disappear
because of "AI". Now they'll be stuck with hundreds
of thousands in load debt - and no way to pay it.

For NOW ... a 'good' career is probably like a
plumber or electrician. Even that won't last
however as bot tech is very rapidly advancing -
find vids of recent Chinese bots. The bots
won't unionize or need insurance or days off ...
and won't mind crawling into a shit/spider
infested environment. All that's lacking is
a solid 6/7-G link with the Main Brain ... and
that's coming along quickly.

What WILL all the obsolete humans do ? How WILL
they live ? Sorry ... nobody has a plan for that.
Seems very deliberate.

You'll get nasty grey Soviet-style "housing" for
awhile, rations. Likely the rations will get
smaller and smaller. Ever see "Soylent Green" ?

The flip - if almost nobody has any money they
can't BUY those AI-cheapened products. AI in
the workplace is a self-destructive approach.
Implosion is fer-sure.

But the CEO/board people will have their pile
of gold by then - zoom off to their bunker
mansions in New Zealand ..........
