    Hello Blinking,
Looks like you have a lot on your plate so to speak and would class this type of dream as a nightmare. It is like you are trying to work through a problem you have had for years. This is one scary dream and hope it gets worked out. Welcome to the newsgroup.

Honestly if I saw an object morph into something it shouldn't be, my initial reaction would either be run like hell, or bash the living hell out of it.
"Glove slap, baby glove slap" I need a new light fixture now. :-\

I had a dream 2 weeks ago where I was staring
at a modern round light fixture on the ceiling. I
was angly telling it "don't morph". Guess what it
did... it morphed [partially] into the look and
shape of a latex glove! I got so scared and
angry that by the tine of the b52s song "Love
Shack", I took a [stiletto] shoe and bashed the <snip>
thing with it while singing "Glove Slap, baby
    Glove slap!".
So Blinking, it's been 8 years and this dream still seems to be getting analyzed. (No problem! Just noting that it still seems to be "out there" as if "looking for resolution."
So I'm about to go out on a limb here, and *if* you still get notifications in your emails, perhaps you'll reply, but I would like to know if:
    1) you were born as XY (male) or XX (female) and
    2) have you had any "non-hetero" issues to deal with in your childhood *or* adulthood?
Sorry to have to ask these things, but they *actually* appear relevant to the dream(s).
    Thanks.
    Silk.

<chuckle!> I once saw a slipper morph into a puppy, except that the puppy *barked* at me! (The surprise ended the dream.)
Meanwhile, *any* transition type effect simply indicates "change," which is a *constant* part of life, as life is "constant change, changing constantly."
