Regardless of any other dreams there may have been, the ones on the couch this morning (between pre-dawn and 9:15 AM) were of significantly memorable quality that they may be written up:
The Neighbor's Party:
The dreamer was in a location *similar* to the once-rural setting of 3050 Asbury
Lane (these days, the property is abandoned except for a TVA power pole, the mobile home is long gone, and the acre+ of land appears *much* like unimproved,
natural landscape) except that rather than a creek running west to east along the northern edge of the property, in the dream, the land was contiguous, with a
neighbor's property to the north, and the dreamer's home had an upstairs room (either a bonus room, or a split level house, or even a full 2-story home.)
The dreamer was able to hear the music and partying noise / activity from the neighbor's property, which prompted the dreamer to look out from an upstairs window (apparently able to actually lean out of the window, with no fixed-screen
window in the way) and observe the activity.
There was some minor scenario wherein the home across the street (to the east) was being toured by potential buyers (and IRL, the house across the street will
be for sale soon, likely at auction.)
The dreamer went over to observe the party-goers to the north, and there was the
*sense* that they were somehow related to the Mexican / Colombian Cartels. (IRL, the past two renters in the duplex directly north of my home have been either "Obama's guests" or "Biden's invitees," though they have always *presented* as a family unit: An older male, with a female mate, and a teenaged
son. Whether they were biologically a family unit or not is irrelevant to the dream content.)
There was some general interaction between the dreamer and the partying neighbors in the dream, perhaps more along the lines of [Who's music is playing
/ Who's the artist?] rather than [Please remember the local noise ordinance.] The general interaction was for the most part "amiable," however, someone in the
party remarked that perhaps the dreamer had been possibly motivated to investigate because of the overall volume of the event.
This particular "insight" was left behind, as the focus turned towards my dog, who in the dream was larger than her 70-pound real life heft, as in the dream, she was practically the size of a small horse, or large Great Dane. Also, "she"
(Ginger) was acting like a male dog, as she was trying to mount a standing black
bear, placing both animals in (roughly) a 5' tall aspect.
To avoid something really awkward happening between the dog and the bear, the dreamer called Ginger to come along (to follow the dreamer) and the dream ended,
clarity 8+/9-ish. Too many details differed from "real life" to be closer to 9+
or 10, although in a "quantum multiverse" sense, a 9 would be relatively accurate.
The Unlikely Wedding Schedule:
This dream had far too many "rivulets" of plot running through it for me to journal it with any sense of accuracy, however, it involved at least one gal, the center of attention, the bride-to-be, at least one male suitor, the "groom to be," also another suitor, the dreamer, and something to do with a green Irish
sea, as some large bodies of water actually have a green color to them, rather than blue, as there was at least one segment where at least one voice in the dream is commenting upon being located by a (king's) "Irish sea," and the view of a green sea was from the perspective of a bird or drown, or possibly even a plane or satellite, looking straight down upon the (greenish) body of water.
But that's just *one* snippet. The rest of the dream involved the seemingly subverted resolve of the groom-to-be to actually get *to* the wedding. The primary action involved the dreamer in conversation with the bride-to-be, and her somewhat condescending tone towards the groom-to-be's absence, although there is something to do with an envelope, perhaps 5" wide x 4" tall, roughly grayish-baby-blue in color, an envelope that represents a gift of some type from
the groom to the bride, yet she has put off opening it for some reason.
When the "drama" (which may be why this dream is difficult to journal, as "drama" is definitely one of the things I've been relatively poor at writing) gets to the point where the groom (still not on the scene) would be better off *not* showing up, the bride leaves the envelope, as if abandoning it, and the dreamer's curiosity piques, and the dreamer opens the envelope, which seems about +"-?" thick, yet after opening, reveals two objects, each perhaps ?"-?" or
possibly even ?" in thickness. The objects appear to be like flattened apple-based treats, similar in shape to "pop.tarts"< yet they differ from each other, as if one of them may have been caramelized, and the other not.
The dreamer, being a tad peckish, takes a bite out of one of them, possibly out
of both, although there's no memory / recall of the flavor of either, only a sense of longing by the dreamer for the snack treats.
Somehow this dream ends in a *much* different clarity level, perhaps going totally symbolic, as the bride-to-be is seen running away with an oak tree- yes,
the oak tree is mobile, as his (there's a sense of it being male for some reason) roots were fluttering over the ground, and both he and the bride-to-be were viewed running along a road, she *in front* of the tree, *towards* the camera perspective, as if the P.O.V. were mounted on a dolly (or truck) that was
also moving at the speed of the - odd - couple.
In an *unfriendly* interpretation, the bride-to-be might be viewed as running *towards* the dreamer, being chased by some sense of a "family tree" pursuing her. Either way, the overall lack of plot cohesion puts it down around clarity
6+ to 8-, while the green sea was a 9+, but the ending was definitely in toon-land 7.
The Luddite (Tech-Ignorant) Sister:
In the dream before waking, the dreamer is in a home *similar* (yet slightly different) from the home I grew up in with my family (on Scottland Drive) watching TV in some manner (such as via Dish / Cable) yet for some reason, there's a notable {lack of flexibility} in the dreamer's ability to change channels / programming which, after a few moments, motivates the dreamer to ask
aloud [what's the problem?]
The dreamer's mother informs the dreamer that the dreamer's sister moved the (intermediate, signal processing) equipment into her bedroom (analogous with the
NE corner "guest" room IRL) and the dreamer (analogous with a younger version of
myself) goes straight into the sister's bedroom (without knocking) and delivers
a (heated) litany of observations regarding her wanton disregard for how her selfish actions affected the entire household, as he begins dismantling the equipment, so as to return it to the living room. (By keeping the setup where it had been, in the living room, then the majority could view as desired, whereas the satellite (other) viewing locations had less flexibility.)
As the dreamer continued with the verbal excoriation, the heat dissipated, and he began having a bit of empathy towards his sister's desire to catch a specific
show (perhaps a live horse show / competition of some sort?)
The growing empathy resulted in the end of the dream (clarity 9+) and only after
I awoke did I realize that *both* my ("real life") biological mother and sister
are both deceased. The reason this concerns me is that having empathy with the
dead *may* be what leads to joining them.

The dreamer and some other individual were going through an area in search of a
critter. Why they were searching for a critter, one may only guess, but there was the impression that a rodent of some type may have scurried into a human's domain, therefore needed to be evicted, as it were.
While the other individual continued on (elsewhere, outside the narrative, so to
speak) the dreamer stopped in a room *similar in size* to a two-car garage, although the walls on up were of less concern than the four baseboards & walls which formed the borders of the floor area.
The reason for stopping in that area was because the dreamer *heard* something minute that caught the dreamer's attention, as like, "Could that have been a mouse?" Any sound of motion at all within an otherwise motionless (static) room
tends to trigger a person's awareness of Newton's 1st Law of Motion (Inertia)u that an object at rest remains at rest, unless some other force (critter) acts upon it. Thus, even the *tiniest* of rustling noise / sound indicates the possibility of a mouse. (If it weren't for what comes next, one might've thought the dreamer was a cat.)
As the dreamer contemplated the miniscule rustle, there was another tiny tone that confirmed the probability that the first was had actually been heard, rather than imagined, and at this point, the dreamer gets a hose (similar to a garden hose) and begins spraying water along the baseboards of the walls.
I realize this is likely something would *not* do unless the room were designed
for water to flow *out* of it, however, there was the sense that the dreamer simply wanted to agitate whatever critter might be hiding so as to focus the action in on whatever may have been trying to escape the water being sprayed like a deluge.
At around the 2nd or 3rd spray, the focus of the dream narrows to a point wherein the dreamer makes a nearly "blind stab" (grope) and retrieves a mouse by
the scruff of its neck, much as how a small mammal carries its young by the scruff of a pup's or kit's neck.
There's a moment wherein the dreamer is concerned as to whether the mouse-like rodent could turn its neck enough to effectively bite the dreamer, and so there's a span of a moment wherein the dreamer adjusts the grip of the scruff so
as to focus the grip directly behind the critter's neck, thus minimizing the freedom of the critter to turn, bite, claw, attempt to escape.
Barely a moment later, the critter may have begun to relax, sensing that the dreamer's grip was non-threatening, but more incapacitating than anything, and the dreamer actually brings the critter to the dreamer's bosom, as the poets used to say, much as how a human would normally care for a cute kitten or puppy,
using the left arm as a type of resting/supporting surface for the critter (yet
not letting go of the neck scruff.)
As the dreamer's mind turns towards releasing the critter *outside* of the building's walls, the dream ends.
Now I've got to make one, small note on the face of the mouse, because the eyes
had a slightly green, luminescent glow to them, as if reflecting light in the same manner as a cat's (which amplifies moonlight, as a type of nature's night-vision.)
As to whether this dream was symbolic (clarity 7) which it *very likely could be,* or an 8+ (as there wasn't much detail of the environment visible) is undetermined, but I'm leaning towards the 7/symbolic.
In the A.I. Drone Project, the dreamer is in an area *similar* to the campus grounds of MTSU, around the Judd/Sims parking area on Alumni Drive, where it bends around the front of Smith Hall, along Old Main Circle (a street route.)
There's a Frisbee<-sized object, but thicker and fuller in shape, much like a "flying saucer" containing volume, *rather than* as a hollowed-out disc (such as
a Frisbee<.)
There's the idea that, for some reason, the drone (with believe it or not, a name, similar to either Voyager or Andromeda) had been through some type of *rigorous* event earlier (like, in the recent or not-too-distant past, relative
to the drone itself) that had caused its programming to reach a point of sentience, in something of a Nietzschesque consequence ("That which does not kill us makes us stronger") which resulted in the drone becoming "more than just
a machine," but a sentient being.
Well, this gets all sorts of complicated, when some *other* entity/construct happens by and *captures* the drone right out of the air in which it was operating, sort of like "big drone captures little drone." Only rather than a physical capture, like a bigger fish swallowing a smaller fish, it was more like
it simply *absorbed* it, more like how a bigger drop of water joins a smaller drop of water, and they become one big drop.
Some form of discussion occurs, similar to that of a human being pleading a case
to a larger entity, on behalf of a smaller entity, for the smaller entity's restoration. That is, the dreamer was pleading a case on behalf of the smaller
drone to be returned, as was performing vital research of some manner, and its results were nearly ready for collection, analysis, conclusion, distribution.
For whatever reason, the larger element returns the smaller drone, but in an unusual manner:
The dreamer is holding a larger disc, and is positioning it over the ground so that it "materializes" a smaller disc upon the ground. Mind you, rather than the effect of "element A dropping element B" beneath it, the effect was *much* more in the style of the "teleporters" of the Star Trek sci-fi genre.
If you've ever worked at a pizza joint that offers 4 different sizes, XL, L, M,
and S, it was like holding a medium pizza over the ground while allowing a Small
(12") diameter pizza to depart from it.
One element of note within all this involves a central, red, luminous focus point, perhaps a tad larger than an *old-fashioned* (Eisenhower type) silver dollar. This red, translucent disc was at the center of *either* the hand-held
unit the dreamer was using to retrieve the drone, *or* possibly a point of the drone itself (Voyager/Andromeda.) The point being, that when the "original" drone had been recovered, the central hub was *clear* rather than luminous red.
It was as if the drone had been reset to factory new condition, and even its Nietzsche-like sentience had been erased.
This was considered "unacceptable" to some degree by the dreamer, who began advocating a point with the larger entity that the drone's software / programming also be restored, at least to the point of where it had achieved sentience, that the drone may be returned *in the original condition* at the point at which it was taken.
There was some interaction in the dream *as if* the larger entity was complying
with the request, however, the dream ended at that point. Clarity, 7-to-Sci-Fi.
Just a memo on a previous segment from earlier this past week somewhere, there was a segment wherein the dreamer was using the thumb and fingers of the right hand to remove something {straw-like} from the dreamer's mouth, *as if,* say, the cotton-mouth condition could be removed in a manner similar to removing a chaw of tobacco. I've had similar dreams throughout my past, but this may be the first time I've ever bothered to write one of them down. The only thing I can think of that it may even *symbolically* represent is the removal of words and their effect from the construct of reality.
