    Scene open with a woman faceing away from me wearing a two piece dark blue tweed suit(skirt and jacket). She has dark brown,almost black hair, wearing 2 inch navy blue heels. There is what looks like white powder on the back of her suit. I walk over, telling her that I'll try to brush it off which I do but some does not come off, so I tell her I will get a damp cloth which magically appears in my hand. This does get the rest of the white stuff off her suit. Wake up just then.

    I have the impression you have blonde hair (or "Sandy") in real life. Nonetheless. approaching a person from behind (in a dream) without being directly confronted (face-to-face) indicates (or "suggests") that what your dream-self is doing is approaching a *version* of yourself that would *lack* any alarm instincts at having a presence approach from behind. In other words, your dream self is helping a "quantum version" of *yourself* (if, say, you'd been born in a "different timeline" of some sort.)

    The sequence where a cloth "magically appears" in your hand is something I've noticed as a type of dream phenomenon: Reality Conforms to Thought (even (and *especially*) in dreams!)
    Say, for instance, you had a "thought" which involved you wanting to make a sandwich for lunch, from whatever you have around in the kitchen. You put those things together, and enjoy the sandwich. *Presto!* Your Reality just Conformed to your Thought.
    Yet in another "timeline," you thought, "Ehhh, I'm really not hungry at the moment, I really need to clean the kitchen instead." So while your reality (of cleaning the kitchen) conforms to your thought, the *other* thought (of making a sandwich) "conformed to reality" and *sank* beneath the waves of consciousness. ("When thought conforms to reality, thoughts turn to stone and sink beneath the waves of consciousness." When Reality Conforms to Thought, people fly in airplanes and land on the moon and come home safely, etc. ("The sky's the limit" / "Reach for the stars" as they say.)
    Wake up just then.
    Mission accomplished / dreams (at a certain level) are for learning through observation *as well as* participation (in my opinion.) After all, "Life is but a dream."

    That's a point of balance (peace) although people rarely remain at that point, thus continue to move on (to find the next point of peace.)
    So picking a "guiding thought" is something I was spending *most* of my youth looking for. I finally figured out that, the "stuff" my parents had been raising me on (in my youth) was "correct/right" all along!
    I found that "guiding thought" in Matthew 5:445:44rCo rCLLove the enemies of yourCY aka rCLLove thine enemiesrCY

    In other words, if someone is to "live a dream," then by what guide does one dream?
    Jesus teaches (as recorded in Matthew 24:4)rCo
    +A+++!-C+|-a+| +++< -a+|-e b+a++b+|-e -C+++#+++<-ab+a
    [Blepete] [m-o] [tis] [hymas] [plan-os-o]
    [Take heed] [lest] [any[one]] [you] [lead astray / deceive / cause to wander.] "Take heed, lest anyone *you* lead astray."
    Using the Good Shepherd analogy: [Mind your own flock. Let *others* call *their* sheep to *their* cotes (sheep pens.)]
    At any rate, this brings me to the observation that, understanding the "logos" (logic/meaning) of words helps one to understand the meaning of dreams. Just sayin'....
