Starting a dream at a kind of greasy burger joint, the dreamer has handed money (probably a $5 bill or such?) through a type of window where the other side is at a slightly lower level, as if the dining floor may have been 1 foot or more higher elevation than the kitchen area (on the other side of the wall, through the window/counter.) The guy on the other side looks to be roughly of Mexican / Latino / Central American ethnicity, with dark, curly yet thinning hair, maybe in his late 30s / early 40s, or had a significantly rough life that may have made him look older than he was.... the name "Guzman" comes to mind, possibly "Gonzales," but the action is of the guy fumbling around with something like a ratty-condition, $1 bill change, as if he's having trouble getting it to line up properly in relationship with the palm of his left hand, thumb and fingers.*****************************************************************************************************************
The dreamer has the sense that the guy may be "fumbling for a tip" (and yes, I used to do this a bit while delivering pizzas back in the day) as it gives the customer time to say "Keep the change," so that's what I said to the Guzman (cook/cashier) fellow.
There was something said during the dream, along the lines of "hold the onion" as in "NO onion" yet for some reason, there was a selection of onions being presented: a whole onion, one about the size of a softball, the other of baseball, and as those were being declined, there came a *slice* of yellow onion, about 5" in diameter, and about -+"rCorao" thick. I mean, it actually looked *tempting* rCo and that's from the perspective of a guy who has *generally* disliked / declined onions for over 50 years!!
The best that I can recall, the dreamer accepted this "golden slice" of onion, folded it twice (like a paper plate, before tossing in the trash, halved then quartered) and ate it, or at least committed to the act of putting it in his mouth as the dream ended, clarity 9.
(Personal note: IRL, my older brother, Bob, mentioned an onion for *some* reason over the recent Thanksgiving holiday, last Thursday of November, 2023. I *suspect* it was needed for something to do with a green bean casserole recipe, but those use dried/fried onion pieces for the topping. The point is, I bought one, and while I only used *half* of it while he was here <<<Why??? Can't remember>>> the other half remained in the fridge (and kept rather well in the low humidity bin!) and I chopped it up for a crock-pot soup made from the leftover turkey, leftover green beans, a block of extra sharp cheddar cheese (cut up into pieces) and filled with the 3 left-behind beers. There may have been other stuff tossed in, but the point is, I've found that onions make for *great* digestive aids along the intestinal tract! At any rate, I think the recent onion addition to the diet may be directly responsible for at least a *part* of this dream.)
Now whether this greasy diner dream had anything to do with the idea of Central American reptiles (or not) is anybody's guess, but this next one was *vivid* by comparison to the dream before and the dream afterward:
The dreamer is, again, at some type of restaurant / diner, *possibly* the same as the one just mentioned, but it was *definitely* a "different scene" (from a production standpoint / perspective.)
The dreamer kept noticing this particular "snout" appearing as if behind some various items along a counter top. Imagine the proprietor (or order taker / cashier / assistant mgr) stands on *one* side of a counter, perhaps chest high, and the customer on the {camera/dreamer's perspective's} side.
Atop the counter (at near eye level) are *various* items, possibly ingredients in jars, possibly a napkin holder... just "stuff"rCo and the dreamer is seeing this "snout" sort of peeking out from around the itemsrCo here a moment, there a moment, enough for the dreamer to realize that [there's something alive back there.]
The dreamer keeps his thoughts to himself, for the moment, uncertain as to whether or not this may be a pet of some kind, or if it may be a venomous / dangerous snake (python? constrictor?) or -just *what*- it may end up being.
The proprietor (or employee?) appears (on the business side of the counter) and the dreamer finally brings the critter to the other guy's attention, something like: "Is that your pet?" (indicating the general vicinity of the critter, as it was again hiding from obvious view.)
"What pet?"
"That critter behind the [stuff] on the counter top." (This dialogue is *not* verbatim, but *rather accurately reflects* the general sense of what was going on in the dream itself.)
The guy goes into an immediate attack/defense action of some kind, as the critter has to be approached *from behind* so as to avoid having one's face/hands bitten off / eaten by the critter's somewhat pointed snout.
Now, to be sure, in the dream, the narrative mind was thinking "Gila Monster" although *possibly* "Monitor Lizard" may have been considered. Sometimes ideas just flow so fast that putting them into precise words is *inaccurate,* to say the least.
What I can tell you is that I "looked up" ("Googled," but using Duck Duck Go) images of both the Gila monster *and* the monitor lizard, to try to figure out what I saw in the dream. The Gila monster *generally* has a much darker appearance overall, and even showed some reddish variants. The monitor lizard is much darker/browner overall, whereas the critter in the dream looked much more like the colors shown in this link:
https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1572916239238-cdd76c4b2c62
(like a "wolf snake" or possibly "desert kingsnake," etc.)
Description of the critter: It had black and yellowish (two tone) scaly skin, like the *smooth* skin of a snake, the kind that actually has a "sheen" or "shine" to it, and the yellowish-white was similar to the color of the onion. There *may* have been a *suggestion* of green to the yellow. All I can say is, I'm "moved to mention" the color "green" although it was more "sensed" than "observed."
The critter was *definitely* reptilian, four legged (short legs, for crawling / scampering close above the ground) and there was the *sense* that the toes had claws (much like a dog's claws, only *much* sturdier / bigger / thicker, and *pointed* sharp, like a cat's claws) long bodied (maybe 3'rCo4' in length?) and even though the diameter of the torso was likely less than 1', it could *easily* be considered as "all muscle," pretty much *very* Gila-monster-like in nature.
The *snout* of the critter was a bit more like that of an alligator (rounded) than a crock (pointed) yet perhaps half the length of either of them. Perhaps you've seen a dog (like a German Shepherd) with a *long* muzzle (compared to a pug!) yet capable of getting a firm clamp on a person's armrCo same thing: if this critter got a bite on you, it could have *nasty* consequences.
The tail length was *less than* clearly observed, but would be *nearly* the length of the torso.
A guy (looking rather Anglo-Saxon) who was seen primarily as a figure outlined in white with black contrast, practically like a simple-animation character, grabs the monster / critter from behind and begins to wrestle with it, basically pulling it up front-side, with the critter's back to the guy's chest, and keeping the critter's mouth/jaws from facing the guy, thus also keeping the critter's legs and claws pointed away from the guy's body.
The critter's mouth and tongue were moving, as if lapping at air, *kind of* in the manner that a snake's tongue might "sense-smell the air" by flicking its forked tongue, only this critter's tongue *may or may not* have been forked. (I have the impression it was rounded, as a human's tongue is rounded / flat across along the leading edge.)
There was a momentary scuffle, as if the guy was getting a better grip on the critter, then the critter was "cast out" of the front door of the building / establishment / diner / restaurant (whatever) and the door was shut, even though there was a view of the critter as it was walking (like crawling/shuffling along on 4 short legs, mind you) away from the door.
The general feeling at that moment was along the lines of "it's on its own now, and out of the building."
I gotta tell you, this feels *very much* like an angel ("Anglo-Saxon") coming into a scene to cast out a demon, where the building represents the dreamer's soul. The flickering / yammering mouth/tongue of the critter could be likened to that of a demonic liar / beast, but hey, the dream was simply a dream at the time of dreaming, with no other interpretations added. This paragraph is simply an interpretation that comes *while typing up the dream itself.* Clarity 10-, but *if* it was an angel casting out a demon, *then* definitely 11.
This last dream is fairly mundane by comparison, as it deals with kids (guys, perhaps early-to-mid teens?) futzing around with going from one kid's home to another, as the back yards of the two houses are diagonally "catty-corner" with each other: Setting up a four-square, with the top two blocks (squares, houses) being north (#1 & #2) and the bottom two south (#3 & #4) and the left blocks "facing west" (#1 & #3) and the right blocks "facing east" (#2 & #4) then the kid (or kids) went from house #2 (upper right, back yard) across to house #3 (lower left, through the back yards) and whatever else they may have been up to (I have the impression that the one kid from house #2 *may* have gone to visit / pal around with the kid at house #3, *or* they *both* left # 2 to go to #3, with the final result being they *both* ended up over at house #3) has been lost to "evaporation" (this late in the morning, just before noonrCo like I said, this particular dream was boring by comparison) clarity 8 to 8-.
Most (if not all) of these dreams likely occurred between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM (due to an awkward evening schedule.)

I think you are correct thinking the tree branch with [children's] faces are part of the Silk Family tree because if had been my dream I would['ve] thought the same thing. When riding anything from a [bicycle] to a car, both of these represents you in this life.
