Whatever was dreamt about prior to around 4:30 AM is pretty much forgotten, if there was any at all, but at some point *after* that, I fell back asleep, and what all happened between then and getting up at around 7:30 AM was all what one might call "off the wall" (to put it mildly.)
At one point, the dreamer was viewing a vehicle pulling up outside (like in a general yard parking area) and a guy (the driver?) got out (American left hand drive) and a few folks with him, similar to a small office group going out to lunch then coming back to work.
What makes this unusual is where the dreamer had been while watching them arrive: sitting off to the left, thinking (himself?) to be alone, leaving a "scat" behind on the sidewalk that ran along the front of the building, thinking there to have been something of a gap in the sidewalk, and using small squares of toilet paper for cleaning up.
The people walked past, and trying to be as "unseen" (or unnoticed) as possible, the dreamer felt the "end of job" need to get up, at which point, a female from the group who had been walking past came over to say something to the dreamer (squatter on the sidewalk) regarding something about just using a toilet, or possibly asking if any more toilet paper was needed. The dreamer was a tad embarrassed to have been noticed and really wasn't all that focused on what she was saying, but did notice that the sidewalk seemed fine, there was no sign of any "scat" that had been left behind, no sign of any of the clean-up toilet paper that had been used, but the dreamer *did* notice that the female had dropped something in such a location that in order to retrieve it, the dreamer made a move similar to looking under a bed (or a car) in order to retrieve a few pieces of whatever had been dropped.
The dreamer was attempting to put the pieces back together, as they were basically either a lighter or a perfume bottle of some kind, similar in appearance to one of those "Febreze" plug ins with a clear-like container, and similar to a butane lighter in that it had a thin pipe going down into the body of the case, and it had a few other bitsy components that didn't make much sense to the dreamer.
IRL, if I'm handed a lighter, I can "put the pieces back together" with relative ease, be it a butane *or* a desk or Zippo-< type lighter. But the bitty pieces in the dream (somewhat whitish looking, possibly plastic parts) resulted in the dreamer handing it all back to the woman and admitting being unable to put it back together again, but maybe she could do a better job on her own time. Clarity 8-.
Now whether this next part is a segment of the same dream (or not) is unclear, but: The dreamer found (himself?) walking along an area much like the outer balcony area of an upper floor, perhaps 5 or 10 floors up, the kind of place where a drop over the side will likely result in certain death.
The dreamer had seen something off to the left and was towards it, when (he) stopped himself and stumbled onto the floor of the balcony area, in a manner of a *very* precarious, balance-type situation: the weight of the dreamer's torso was on the supporting edge of the balcony, and *maybe* some of the upper part of the dreamer's legs, but the dreamer's lower legs and feet were as if simply extending into space, above where there was *no* balcony fencing or railing of *any* kind: In other words, the dreamer had basically "caught himself" from walking right over the edge and falling down, and was now in a kind of a "helpless turtle" type (supine) position where it was felt there was no way to turn or roll without losing balance / falling off the ledge.
The dreamer actually considers as a last resort, calling for "HELP!" and does so, a bit quietly at first, then with increasing volume, so that eventually *someone* would be able to lend a hand and help (him) resume whatever daily activity would be next. This is one of those places where the dreamer is *verbally* saying (in this case, shouting) something, rather than quietly thinking it, as much dream conversation / words often appear more "mental" than "verbal" within dreams.
Well, surprise surprise, a sandy-blonde female (if platinum white were a 5, classic blonde a 4, reddish tints a 3, brownish tints a 2, this was perhaps a 1, a *very* light shade of brownish, with *possibly* an ancestor's trace of red) happens by and starts having a discussion with the dreamer regarding getting out of the dreamer's position.
The dreamer *had* been working on trying to find *some* type of "purchase" (something to press against) for the feet / legs, and finding nothing, but as the female walked onto / into the scene, there was suddenly something "there" for the dreamer to shove against, and (*really* weird:) the dreamer grabbed his own hair and pulled himself back about 4" from the edge of the ledge. The dreamer had *also* seen a flag flying from an area across the gap yet of the same wall-side of the same building, only it was a blue and yellow flag (much like the Ukrainian flag of the year of this writing, 2023.)
Thinking that was a rather curious maneuver, the dreamer considered trying it *again* for some better distance, but (obviously) pulling one's own hair actually does *not* work IRL. How it had worked the first time is something of a mystery, but it was *as if* the hand that pulled the hair may have had an anchor source *other* than the dreamer's physical (dream) body.
The female seemed to be asking the dreamer what the problem was, and the dreamer was explaining (briefly) something about being unable to move without falling off the ledge.
The female sort of "pointed out the obvious," that there was no drop, and then (here's the odd part) the dreamer simply "got up" as if there had been no problem whatsoever. Clarity between 7 and 9+, 10- at times.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the above dream was something of a commentary on the effect of "fear" on the American taxpayer(s) and how that fear was being used to fund the corruption in Ukraine and Russia. For all we know, the equipment being used (on both sides!) costs only a *fraction* of what is being spent, and all the rest of those billions is going to line the pockets of the politicians involved.
This next dream was *really* odd, possibly of a more significant value as a type of "peek" into the mechanics of how dreams (and reality) function(s.)
The dreamer was simply in an area similar to a building with spacious rooms, with some vague discussion regarding "pirates" (possibly in relation to the age of the high seas and sailing ships, but also possibly in relation to Muslim pirates off the coastline of Africa and elsewhere) when at least one female (there may have been others) spoke to the dreamer, and the conversation somewhat "came into focus" as the end of the dream drew to its closing point. She was asking the dreamer some sort of a question to which the dreamer provided some type of answer, and she remarked that the answer provided what was "needed" (or what had been "needing") to which the dreamer replied by asking something along the lines of, "Needing what?" to which one female replied, "A *timeline*" <at which point, she used a curved blade (which looked just like the one in this picture:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12WYW4NKh8VRf-p1efdzY7xnIE4NqEZ5-/view?usp=drive_link )
only it was apparently sharpened on the *outside* of the blade, rather than the inside (either that, or the entire motion that followed was merely an act...?) and (with I think her right arm / hand) made a swinging swipe at the left side of the dreamer's neck. Now, imagining that the move was meant to kill instantly, it may have done so in the "dream world," however, what was "seen" next was a spray of colored balloon-like explosions, very similar to what is seen in that hilarious movie:
https://youtu.be/ZD24VY0YWdQ?t=69 (also: tinyurl.com/HeadsBlown )
So as to the possibility of how the "mechanics of reality" flow, the death of any particular element of life leads to a "change" in the timeline of that which survives.
Finally, there's this "cute" dream, with questionable symbolism:
The dreamer entered an outdoor area *similar* to someone's back yard (possibly near a driveway area) with a dirt/grass-like ground, and the dreamer notices a small, brown, paper bag (similar to what many folk have used for their lunches) and *in* that bag there is a small, brown critter, similar to a hamster, similar to a large vole (field mouse) so it's basically more "hairy" than "furry" yet there is the mixture of emotions, between: 1) oh how cute! and 2) eradicating a possible pest (aka "vermin.")
The dreamer is pondering whether or not to retrieve the critter, when my son, Landon (appearing as he did around age 4, as of the date of this posting, he's 15) appears in the dream, along *with* a *free* critter of the same breedrCo that is, either a "twin," or an "opposite" or possibly a "mate" to the one in the brown paper bag. About at that same time, the dreamer dumped the critter out of the bag onto the ground.
The dreamer asks the boy if the critter (that was dumped out of the bag) is his (sort of like, "Oh, is this yours?") to which the boy nods or in some way gives assent (as if to say "yes") and the dreamer is beginning to look for the just-freed critter, as if to return it to the bag, as if to return it to the boy (Landon) when the dream ended.
The reason for considering this as "possible symbolism" has to do with the coming of age and the maturing of the testicles, which *may* be somehow linked to the two critters. Thus, the dream clarity would be either 7, or possibly 9-.
