Oops! Must've been "FRIDAY" rather than "Thursday." Oh well.... the date of the *post* is correct.

    2025/03/21 Thursday- Marriage language

There were a few interesting segments last night, starting with the dreamer in
something of a *large* home (perhaps a "mansion") *practically* the size of a
mall, with *spacious* areas that appeared geared toward various functions/interests along the peripheries. I *think* I recall a type of grand, central (parenthetically arched) stairway in the center, leading up one
level. [The kind of stairway that is actually two stairs, looking like:
( ) leading up to the upper floor, which surrounded the lower floor like the cross-section of a donut.]

At one point, the dreamer (for some reason) needed to travel quickly from point A to point B (I *think* to go up the stairs) within the home and was noting the soft texture of the carpet, as the dreamer was running barefoot (on
toe like a sprinter, rather than heel-to-toe like a moron.)

The moment the dreamer became aware of the toe-carpet texture/connection, the
dream ended, sadly, as it was a *beautiful* home, and I'd have much enjoyed exploring the various areas, however, in a dream, the focus appears to follow
the mind, and the mind went to the body (the toes) which caused me to awaken (slightly)- it caused the dream to end (clarity a beautiful 9.)

The more *interesting* (and encouraging!) dream segments involved the dreamer
(basically, myself) and the dreamer's relationship with the woman (he) wished
    to marry (Gina.)

The two of them got into something of a brief discussion, with the dreamer telling her that marriage had *always* been on (his) mind, and that getting *to* the point of marriage had always been the objective to which the dreamer
    had been seeking an answer.

She mentioned *something* to the dreamer regarding (his) use of [feminine-submissive] language (which was a turn-off for her) so the dreamer switched to an alpha-male-dominant mode of "Ok- marry me." This *momentarily*
opened a window of thought regarding [when] as if setting a future time only involved more delay/procrastination, so the dreamer switched to "Today. Now."
(There was no sense of rejection from her, that she was complying with the Alpha-male's command.)

This began a sequence of events that involved her (Gina's) biological parents
(from real life- only "IRL," her father passed a few years back) and also some
activity regarding the venue (a Church facility) and the dreamer ended up in a
two-piece suit (slacks and jacket) only (he) was wearing something like a T-shirt and was pondering finding a decent shirt (and tie) and *also* the ring(s) for the ceremony, when the dream ended. (Clarity a wondrous 9+ in places, a tad confusing towards the end, clarity 7-8.)

2025/03/23 Sunday: The tie that cuts (?!)

Most of last night's / this morning's dreams have evaporated, however, there was
one that lasted well after waking, and I'm posting about it *now* (writing it up
after 5:01 PM CDT) so as to "get it off my mind" for the time being-

The dreamer was observing a young, white male (perhaps around his mid-20s to early 30s?) ahead to the right of the dreamer, seen facing left, as the east faces west when observed from the south, who I *believe* was named "Michael," who was vaguely accosting person B, who appeared to possibly be a female, who *may* have been facing Michael, yet appeared to be retreating (westward) while still facing Michael (who was approaching from the east of the scene.)

The male to the right ("Michael") was wielding an actual scalpel (such as used by a surgeon, M.E., or even a lab scientist or college student) in his right hand, which was why the female was retreating from him, as if to avoid being sliced (or worse.)

The dreamer came *to* Michael in a manner as to direct Michael's attention, whereupon Michael stood looking directly at the dreamer, only at this point, the
scalpel was in Michael's *left* hand, as since he was opposing the dreamer, who
had (his) arms outward (elbows lowered) towards Michael, the scalpel was somehow
placed (with *mild* pressure) against the dreamer's right forearm.

The dreamer was speaking to Michael, as if to calm or possibly reassure him, while avoiding any discussion or mention of the scalpel against the dreamer's forearm.

Then, as such would tend to happen without reduction of force, the blade of the
scalpel sliced down into the flesh of the dreamer's right forearm, leaving a gash of perhaps 1+"-2" in length, whereupon *Michael* somehow let go of the blade, or the blade simply disappeared, but the reaction was that it was *Michael* who had a sudden look on his face, like a toddler who'd incurred an owie, such that the pain was sudden and unexpected, and his face also looked like that of a toddler, who'd suddenly began to cry as a consequence of the unexpected, hurtful pain.

The dreamer simply addressed the gash, noticing that there was no blood, and pushed the two sides of the gash together, as if to apply pressure to stop any possible bleeding, and to allow the two sides of skin begin to heal, but the dream (event) ended as the flesh was being pressed together, clarity 9++. The only reason it wasn't an actual 10 is because:
    A) the female's identity (while suspected) was unclear, and
    B) the scene was almost entirely of Michael and the dreamer, while the background was simply dark, rather than well-lit.

What makes this a 9++, however, is that the *pain* of the scalpel cutting into the dreamer's arm *persisted into waking consciousness* for several moments!! (*Maybe* under a minute of "real-time.")

As I'm typing this up, it *could* be a dream-relevant consequence of actual muscular soreness as a consequence of yesterday's afternoon activity, where I was helping my "new neighbor" (across the street, where the Bells had lived since the house had been built in the early 1960s) with chain-sawing the trunk/limbs of two trees he'd cut down for landscaping purposes. (Old man Bell
died in November of 2023, and the property sold to new owners last August.)
