• Reader-mode oddiries ?

    Hello all,

I was using reader-mode in FF 52, and had the need to "view page source".
To my surprise what I got was something that didn't even contain the text I was reading.

Also, when I dragged the URL to my desktop and tried to again open it this morning by dragging the link onto my open browser it refused to do so.

(Looking at the stored link itself it started with "about:reader?url=")

what I want to know is is this normal behaviour (does it still work the same way in more recent versions of FF), and if so what is the purpose of it ?

    Regards,
    Rudy Wieser

In FF 155.x reader mode URLs look normal, both in the URL bar and in
    dragged bookmarks ...

    Andy,

    I was using reader-mode in FF 52
(Looking at the stored link itself it started with"about:reader?url=")

In FF 155.x reader mode URLs look normal, both in the URL bar and
    in dragged bookmarks ...

That was what surprised me : in the URL bar it showed normal, just the drag-and-dropping it resulted in a quite different one - which the browser doesn't recognise back (just checked : about:about doesn't list
    about:reader. Whut?).

I'm going to assume that both I asked about are bugs.
