Up until maybe the next-to-last FF version update, choosing the game
and clicking "Play" brought up a blue screen behind which the game
loaded and brought up a screen with instructions and a start button.
That still comes up but you can see behind it that the game hasn't
loaded and the start button is non-functional.

Just tried it, in a private-browsing window so I could click rCLAcceptrCY
for all their cookies. Got as far as the instructions screen and the
    rCLPlay GamerCY button OK.

Exactly. Did you get past the "Play Game" button, though?

I know now you didn't. Someone posting on another server tried loading
the game using MS Edge and the CCleaner browser (didn't know they had
one). Same result. Hopefully Andrews/McMeel and the Tribune know about
this and are working on a fix. Thanks to you and the other poster for checking.

Apparently the Tribune blocks everyone outside the US, this may be
configured a bit too tight for certain (CDN) parts of the site.

Another server? But to a.c.s.firefox wherever it's carried.
