But...how long can WinUI 3 live in the Micro$oft software harem?

Before a new virgin-grade GUI API arrive? :)

    Why not just use Win32API?

Enshitification doesn't apply only to existing softwares.
It has spread to software creation and even other fileds in the real world. That's the current trend.

Yes. It can be created as shit from the very start. It seems to be the
goal these days. Make as much shitty code as fast as you can.

When the money rolls in, you'll not notice the stench of the pure shit
    you sold.

IE4, initially was released in 1997 and included Outlook Express(OE).
OE's initial release was also the rebranding(name change) of Internet
    Mail and News.

Also in 1997 IE4 and Outlook Express also was packaged with MSN Explorer
    2.6.

Active Desktop(AD) included in IE4(1997) lasted until Windows Vista
circa 2006 when AD was deprecated, replaced by Windows Sidebar and Gadgets

IE4/OE/AD were all released during the Win95 era and prior to Windows
    Vista.

I always prefer to look out of the window to see what the weather's

Most weather widgets report the overall weather of a big area, not just
a house's outside weather. In fact, you should look up the definition of weather in high-school geography books.
