    Are your prayers answered?

If not, there are certain things you should do:

    1. Pray to God, not to Mary or Saints, etc, Luke 11:2,

    - New American with Apocrypha
Luke 11:2 He said to them, "When you pray, say:
    Father, hallowed be your name,
    your kingdom come.

Notice, God's NAME is first in the prayer. A common name for God for
centuries has been and is "JEHOVAH". Since NO ONE knows His real name,
the name Jehovah is based on the Tetragrammaton. And people recognize
it as a name for God.

    2. Must pray THROUGH Jesus' name. (not pray TO Jesus) John 14:6,

    -- New American with Apocrypha
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.

    3. Must pray within God's will. God's will is in the Bible. 1 John
    5:14,

    -- New American with Apocrypha
1 John 5:14 And we have this confidence in him, that if we ask
anything according to his will, he hears us.

    -- New American with Apocrypha
James 4:3 You ask but do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to
    spend it on your passions.

For example, to pray to win the Lottery, etc.

    4. God must consider you a RIGHTEOUS person. 1 Pet 3:12,

    New American with Apocrypha
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears turned to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against evildoers."

    5. Should not pray only so that others can see you and think you are a righteous person. Mt 6:5,

    -- New American with Apocrypha
Matthew 6:5 "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to
stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others
may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

    6. Do not memorize a prayer and say it over and over verbatim. Mt 6:7,

    New American with Apocrypha
Matthew 6:7 In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that
they will be heard because of their many words.

    -- Living Bible
Matthew 6:7 ``Don't recite the same prayer over and over as the
heathen do, who think prayers are answered only by repeating them
again and again. Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need
    even before you ask him!

    7. Must believe God will answer your prayer. James 1:6,7,

"6. But he should ask in faith, not doubting, for the one who doubts
is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.
    7. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything
    from the Lord," (NAB)

I hope those Scriptures can help you to get your prayers answered.

The text claims that "Jehovah" is a common name based on the
Tetragrammaton and implies it should be used in light of Luke 11:2.
However, the Greek text of Luke 11:2 uses the word "Pater" (Father).
Jesus did not instruct His followers to address God as "Jehovah," but explicitly as "Father." Inserting "Jehovah" into the context of the
Lord's Prayer contradicts the actual scriptural text provided by Jesus.

Further, the name for God in the Old Testament was YHWH, not "Jehovah".
The inspired New Testament writers used Kyrios (Lord) to translate YHWH,
then applied passages about YHWH to Jesus Christ, showing He is YHWH.
The disciples translated the OT name for God (YHWH) as Kyrios
(Lb|A-Cb|a), and attribute the name of YHWH to Jesus:

    1. Joel 2:32 raA Romans 10:13

rCo Joel 2:32 (LXX): rCLEveryone who calls on the name of the LORD
    (Kurios) will be saved.rCY

rCo Romans 10:13: rCLEveryone who calls on the name of the LORD
    (Kurios) will be saved.rCY

Paul applies this to Jesus in Romans 10:9, identifying Him as the
Kurios on whom we call for salvation.

    2. Isaiah 45:23 raA Philippians 2:10rCo11

rCo Isaiah 45:23 (LXX): rCLTo Me every knee shall bow, every tongue
    shall confess to God.rCY

rCo Philippians 2:10rCo11: rCLAt the name of Jesus every knee should
bow... and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD
    (Kurios).rCY

Paul applies this passage about YHWH to Jesus, calling Him Kurios.

    3. Deuteronomy 6:4 raA 1 Corinthians 8:6

rCo Deuteronomy 6:4 (LXX): rCLThe LORD (Kurios) our God, the LORD
    (Kurios) is one.rCY

rCo 1 Corinthians 8:6: rCLYet for us there is one God, the Father...
and one LORD (Kurios), Jesus Christ.rCY

Paul affirms monotheism and includes Jesus as Kurios within the divine identity.

    4. Psalm 34:8 raA 1 Peter 2:3

rCo Psalm 34:8 (LXX): rCLTaste and see that the LORD (Kurios) is
    good.rCY

rCo 1 Peter 2:3: rCLIf indeed you have tasted that the LORD
    (Kurios) is good.rCY

Peter quotes the psalm about YHWH and applies it to Jesus as Kurios.

    5. Isaiah 8:13rCo14 raA 1 Peter 3:15; Romans 9:33

rCo Isaiah 8:13: rCLBut the LORD (Kurios) of hosts, Him you shall
    honor as holy...rCY

rCo 1 Peter 3:15: rCLHonor Christ the LORD (Kurios) as holy in your
    hearts.rCY

rCo Isaiah 8:14: rCLAnd He will become a sanctuary and a stone of
    stumbling...rCY

Romans 9:33 and 1 Peter 2:8 apply this stumbling stone to Christ,
    identifying Him as the Kurios.

    6. Psalm 102:25rCo27 raA Hebrews 1:10rCo12

rCo Psalm 102:25 (LXX): rCLYou, LORD (Kurios), laid the foundation
of the earth in the beginning.rCY

rCo Hebrews 1:10: rCLYou, LORD (Kurios), laid the foundation of the
    earth in the beginning.rCY

The writer explicitly says this was spoken rCLof the Son,rCY identifying
    Jesus as Kurios.

    7. Deuteronomy 10:17 raA Revelation 19:16

rCo Deuteronomy 10:17 (LXX): rCLFor the LORD (Kurios) your God is

God of gods and LORD (Kurios) of lords.rCY

rCo Revelation 19:16: rCLKing of kings and LORD (Kurios) of lords.rCY

The title for YHWH is applied to Jesus, who bears the name Kurios of all.

The New Testament authors consistently affirm Kurios as the proper
translation of YHWH and deliberately apply passages about the Kurios
of the Old Testament to Jesus Christ.

Point 2 asserts that believers must not pray to Jesus, using John 14:6
to support the claim. Scripture explicitly contradicts the prohibition
    against praying to Jesus:

Acts 7:59 records Stephen praying directly to Jesus: "Lord Jesus,
    receive my spirit."

1 Corinthians 1:2 describes Christians as those who "call upon the name
    of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Revelation 22:20 records a direct prayer to Christ: "Amen. Come, Lord
    Jesus!"
Restricting prayer solely to the Father and forbidding prayer to the Son ignores these explicit biblical examples and commands.

Point 4 states that "God must consider you a RIGHTEOUS person" for
prayers to be answered, citing 1 Peter 3:12. While God hears the
righteous, scripture teaches that no human possesses inherent
righteousness to merit an audience with God (Romans 3:10). Righteousness before God comes strictly through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:21-22,
    2 Corinthians 5:21).

Furthermore, God hears the prayers of the unrighteous who call upon Him
in repentance, such as the tax collector in Luke 18:13-14 who prayed,
"God, be merciful to me, a sinner," and went home justified. Framing righteousness as a prerequisite condition rather than a result of
Christ's imputed grace creates a legalistic error.

Point 6 uses Matthew 6:7 to claim that one must "not memorize a prayer
and say it over and over verbatim." Matthew 6:7 warns against "vain repetitions" or "babbling like pagans" who believe sheer word count or mechanical repetition forces God to act. Jesus was not forbidding the memorization or repetition of righteous prayers. In fact, immediately following verse 7, Jesus gives a specific, structured prayer (the Lord's Prayer) in Matthew 6:9-13, and in Luke 11:2 He explicitly says, "When
you pray, say..." Jesus Himself prayed using the exact same words
repeatedly during His agony in Gethsemane (Matthew 26:44).

rCLAgain, for the second time, he went away and prayed, rCLMy Father, if
this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.rCY And again he
came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. So, leaving
them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same
    words again.rCY (Matthew 26:42rCo44, ESV)

    Good News rCa

    Jesus is God: christrose.news/Jesus-God.

The solitary true and saving gospel is that Christ died for our sins and
rose from the grave (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9). Any
modification of this gospel is false and leads to conscious, eternal
    torment in the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; John 3:36;
Revelation 14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15). Unless you
believe Jesus is God, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

Jesus took our place on the cross to settle our debt with God
(Colossians 2:14), and God confirmed the acceptance of this payment by
raising Him from death (Romans 1:4). Thus, God remains holy while
justifying the ungodly (Romans 3:26) and shielding them from future
wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). This blessing is a free gift given to
those who believe (Romans 6:23). Place your confidence in Christ and
call on Him for salvation (Romans 10:9-13):
