Churches have miserably failed to teach real Bible truths.
--People still think ghosts are dead humans that haven't 'moved on'
yet. (yet notice Ps 146:4)
--People still believe God is a composite of 3 personalities with
bodies- taken from the 4th century. (yet notice Deut 6:4)
--People still believe God roasts wicked living beings in a literal
fire. (minus potatoes and carrots)
--People still believe that humans have an immortal soul that survives
death. (yet notice Ezek 18:4)
--The pagan cross is still venerated by professed Christians.
--Many main stream churches supported the Nazi regime during WWII,
such as Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Mormon leaders, 7th Day
Adventists, etc.
**But what about Jehovah's Witnesses? Notice quote:
"Jehovah's Witnesses faced intense persecution under Adolf Hitler's
Nazi regime because they maintained strict political neutrality and
refused to pledge loyalty to the state."
(AI Overview)
Churches say Jesus is God. Only God knew the day and hour, not Jesus.
(Mt 24:36)
If Jesus is God, cannot look at God and still live. (Ex 33:20)
If Jesus is God, no man has ever seen God; (1 John 4:12)
All the righteous end up in Heaven. (Not according to Mt 5:5)
Churches make no attempt to call God by a NAME. (see Ps 83:18 KJV)
True religion is doing this in the last days. (Mt 24:14)
Jesus is supposed to return and rule on earth. (Jesus says no. John
18:36)
There are a lot more I could list here, but this should get your feet
wet.

The Deity Of Jesus Christ
1. Divine Names Given To Jesus Christ
"Thomas answered him, 'My Lord and my God!'" (John 20:28; ESV)
"Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13; ESV)
"To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen." (Romans 9:5; ESV)
Proposition: The Bible directly addresses Jesus Christ as God.
2. Distinctively Divine Attributes Ascribed To Jesus Christ
"Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.'" (John 8:58; ESV)
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Matthew 18:20; ESV)
"He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?' Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, 'Do you love me?' and he said to him, 'Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed my sheep.'" (John 21:17; ESV)
"For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily." (Colossians 2:9; ESV)
Proposition: Eternity, omnipresence, omniscience, and the entire fullness of deity belong to Jesus Christ.
3. Divine Worship Given To Jesus Christ
"And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, 'Let all God's angels worship him.'" (Hebrews 1:6; ESV)
"And behold, Jesus met them and said, 'Greetings!' And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him." (Matthew 28:9; ESV)
"Then Jesus said to him, 'Be gone, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'" (Matthew 4:10; ESV)
"So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10-11; ESV)
Proposition: God commands angels and men to worship Jesus Christ, and Jesus accepted worship that belongs to God alone.
4. The Proper Understanding Of Christ In The Flesh
"Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men." (Philippians 2:5-7; ESV)
"No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known." (John 1:18; ESV)
Proposition: Jesus Christ voluntarily humbled Himself in human flesh, veiling His divine glory to reveal the invisible God to mankind.
The Nature Of The Soul And The Intermediate State
1. The Soul And Spirit Continue Beyond Physical Death
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28; ESV)
"Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8; ESV)
"I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better." (Philippians 1:23; ESV)
Proposition: Men cannot kill the soul when they kill the body; physical death separates the conscious soul from the body to be with the Lord.
2. Physical Death Ceases Earthly Life Not Conscious Existence
"The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence." (Psalm 115:17; ESV)
"When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish." (Psalm 146:4; ESV)
"The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side." (Luke 16:22-23; ESV)
Proposition: Passages describing silence and the end of thoughts refer to the termination of man's plans, activities, and worship in this earthly realm, while in the unseen world the departed retain conscious torment or comfort.
The Reality Of Conscious Eternal Punishment
1. The Execution Of Divine Judgment In Eternal Fire
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'" (Matthew 25:41; ESV)
"And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Matthew 25:46; ESV)
Proposition: The punishment of the wicked is conscious and equal in duration to the eternal life of the righteous.
2. The Lake Of Fire Is Not Extinction
"And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Revelation 20:10; ESV)
"And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name." (Revelation 14:11; ESV)
"And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15; ESV)
Proposition: The Lake of Fire brings unending, day-and-night conscious torment, not annihilation or loss of being.
The Earthly Reign Of Jesus Christ
1. Christ Shall Rule Over All Nations Upon Earth
"And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one." (Zechariah 14:9; ESV)
"Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.'" (Revelation 11:15; ESV)
"And they sang a new song, saying, 'Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.'" (Revelation 5:9-10; ESV)
Proposition: Jesus Christ will return bodily to rule the nations of the world upon the earth.

Good News rCa
Christ's death on a cross paid the debt we owe God for our sins (Colossians 2:14). The proof is God raised Him from the dead (Romans 1:4).
This means God can now remain right, while forgiving our sins (Romans 3:26) and delivering us from His coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). It's a free gift for those who believe in Christ (Romans 6:23).
If you believe, call on the Lord to save you (Romans 10:9-13).

What The Bible Teaches Regarding The Claims Of Critics
The Conscious Existence Of The Soul After Death
The claim is made that human beings possess no soul that survives
physical death, and that death is complete unconsciousness or cessation
of being. Let us examine what the Scriptures plainly state.
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the
soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in
hell." (Matthew 10:28 ESV)
Jesus Christ explicitly distinguishes between the body and the soul. Men possess the physical ability to kill the body, but they cannot kill the
soul. If the soul were merely the physical body or the physical breath
that ceases at physical death, whoever kills the body would instantly
kill the soul. Jesus asserts they cannot do so; the soul survives the
death of the body.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live
in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I
shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two.
My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far
better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your
account." (Philippians 1:21-24 ESV)
Paul asserts that to die is gain, and that departing from the flesh
results in being "with Christ, for that is far better." If death were unconsciousness or annihilation, departing from earthly life could not
be called "gain" or "far better" than serving Christ in the flesh.
"Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from
the body and at home with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8 ESV)
To be absent from the physical body is to be present and at home with
the Lord. The human spirit does not cease to exist when separated from
the physical frame.
"And he said to him, 'Truly, I say to you, today you will be with
me in paradise.'" (Luke 23:43 ESV)
Jesus promised the dying thief conscious companionship with Himself in Paradise on that very day.
"The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's
side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being
in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and
Lazarus at his side." (Luke 16:22-23 ESV)
Both men died physically; both were immediately conscious in the realm
of the dead, one in comfort and the other in torment.
"When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls
of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the
witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, 'O
Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge
and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?'"
(Revelation 6:9-10 ESV)
The souls of those physically slain were seen conscious, speaking,
praying, and remembering earthly events after death.
Question: Does not Ezekiel 18:4 say, "The soul who sins shall die"?
Answer: "Death", throughout Scripture, represents separation (spiritual separation from God and physical separation from the earthly body),
never cessation of existence.
Question: Does not Psalm 146:4 say of man, "When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish"?
Answer: The word translated "plans" (or "thoughts") denotes his earthly projects, purposes, and ambitions. When a man dies, his earthly
enterprises come to an immediate end; the passage does not teach that
his conscious spirit ceases to exist.
Proposition: The Bible plainly teaches that the soul of man is distinct
from the physical body, survives physical death in a conscious state,
and that the believer, upon departing the body, is immediately present
with Christ.
The Nature Of God And The Trinity
The claim is made that Christian belief portrays God as a composite of
three separate physical bodies invented in the fourth century,
contradicting the oneness of God in Deuteronomy 6:4. Let us see what the Scriptures teach.
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one." (Deuteronomy
6:4 ESV)
There is only one BEING who is true God. Historic biblical faith has
never taught three gods, nor that God is composed of three physical
bodies. The Scriptures teach:
"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit
and truth." (John 4:24 ESV)
God in His essential divine nature is spirit, not a material body. Yet
within the unity of the one Godhead, Scripture reveals three distinct
persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit." (Matthew 28:19 ESV)
Notice the singular: "in the name" (not "names"), yet clearly
distinguishing three divine persons.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among
us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from
the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:1, 14 ESV)
The Word (Jesus Christ) was with God from the beginning, and the Word
was God.
"Peter said, 'Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to
the Holy Spirit... You have not lied to man but to God.'" (Acts
5:3-4 ESV)
To lie to the Holy Spirit is to lie to God. The Holy Spirit is a divine person.
Proposition: The Bible teaches that there is only one God, who is
Spirit, and who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Eternal Reality Of Future Punishment
The claim is made that the judgment of the wicked does not involve
conscious, eternal punishment. Let us examine the words of Jesus Christ.
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you
cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his
angels'... And these will go away into eternal punishment, but
the righteous into eternal life." (Matthew 25:41, 46 ESV)
There is a direct and equal parallel made between the reward of the
righteous and the punishment of the wicked. The righteous experience
conscious eternal life. Therefore the cursed experience conscious,
eternal punishment. This is confirmed by the self-evident observation
that an "eternal fire" would not be necessary to burn an object which immediately ceases to exist. If the fire exists eternally for
"punishment", then the damned soul exits in the fire eternally. It makes
no sense to have an "eternal fire" to punish the wicked, if they
immediately cease to exist.
"And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of
fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and
they will be tormented day and night forever and ever... And if
anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was
thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:10, 15 ESV)
The judgment of the lake of fire is described not as unconscious
annihilation, but as being tormented day and night forever and ever.
"...It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye
than with two eyes to be thrown into hell [geena], 'where their
worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.'" (Mark 9:47-48
ESV)
Jesus explicitly warns that the fire of judgment is unquenchable and the condition of the lost is unceasing.
Proposition: The Bible explicitly teaches that the final punishment of
the wicked is conscious and everlasting.
The Cross (staurus/pole/pole + patibulum) Of Jesus Christ
The claim is made that the cross is a pagan object that true Christians
must avoid or despise. This is perhaps the most stupid and hypocritical
of accusations against the church, since if a pole (staur||s) with a
patibulum attached to it (cross), then so is a pole without a patibulum.
"But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord
Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I
to the world." (Galatians 6:14 ESV)
The Apostle Paul made the cross [stauros/pole] of Christ his sole boast
and glory.
"For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to
us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18 ESV)
To those who reject the truth, the preaching of the cross is
foolishness; to those being saved, it is the very power of God.
"And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or
in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." (Colossians 1:20 ESV)
Peace with God was accomplished through the blood of Christ's cross.
Proposition: It matters not whether the stauros (pole) had a patibulum (cross-beam) attached to it. The New Testament proclaims the cross
(pole/pole with patibulum) of Jesus Christ as the supreme instrument of redemption and the central theme of Christian proclamation and glory.
The Deity Of Jesus Christ
Several arguments are advanced to deny the true Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us answer each directly from the Scriptures.
First Objection: Jesus could not be God because He did not know the day
or hour of His return (Matthew 24:36).
"Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality
with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking
the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men."
(Philippians 2:5-7 ESV)
In entering human history, the Son of God voluntarily veiled the
independent exercise of His divine attributes to live as a true man in
humble submission to the Father. Yet Scripture affirms that in His
essential nature, He possesses all knowledge:
"He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love
me?' Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time,
'Do you love me?' and he said to him, 'Lord, you know
everything; you know that I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed
my sheep.'" (John 21:17 ESV)
Jesus did not correct Peter; He accepted the statement that He knows all things.
Second Objection: Scripture says no man can see God and live (Exodus
33:20; 1 John 4:12), therefore Jesus cannot be God.
"No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's
side, he has made him known." (John 1:18 ESV)
No man has seen God the Father in the direct unveiled essence of His
glory. It is precisely the divine Son who came into the flesh to reveal Him.
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all
creation." (Colossians 1:15 ESV)
"For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily."
(Colossians 2:9 ESV)
All the fullness of the Deity dwells in Jesus Christ in bodily form.
Third Fact: The Bible directly calls Jesus God, and commands divine
worship to be given to Him.
"Thomas answered him, 'My Lord and my God!'" (John 20:28 ESV)
Thomas directly addressed Jesus as his God, and Jesus accepted this confession.
"Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our
great God and Savior Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13 ESV)
The Apostle Paul identifies Jesus Christ as "our great God and Savior."
"But of the Son he says, 'Your throne, O God, is forever and
ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your
kingdom.'" (Hebrews 1:8 ESV)
God the Father Himself addresses the Son as "God."
"And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,
'Let all God's angels worship him.'" (Hebrews 1:6 ESV)
God commands all the angels of heaven to worship the Son.
Proposition: Jesus Christ is fully God, possessed of all divine
attributes, addressed as God in Scripture, and worthy of all divine
honor and worship.
The Name Of God And Salvation In Jesus Christ
The claim is made that true religion is proven by repeating the Old
Testament Hebrew name Yahweh (or Jehovah), and that churches fail
because they do not make this their central practice. Let us examine
what the New Testament reveals regarding the Name.
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other
name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
(Acts 4:12 ESV)
The inspired Apostle declares that there is only one name given under
heaven by which men must be saved, and that name is Jesus Christ.
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the
name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the
earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11 ESV)
God has exalted the name of Jesus above every other name in heaven and
on earth.
"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
(Romans 10:13 ESV)
Paul quotes Joel 2:32, where the Old Testament speaks of calling upon
the name of Yahweh, and applies it directly to calling upon the Lord
Jesus Christ for salvation (see Romans 10:9).
Proposition: The New Testament reveals that the supreme Name given for
the salvation and worship of all mankind is the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
The Eternal Destiny Of The Righteous And The Earthly Reign Of Christ
The claim is made that the righteous do not go to Heaven, and that Jesus
will never rule on earth because of John 18:36. Let us read what the Scriptures say.
First: The present and ultimate hope of the believer.
"But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ." (Philippians 3:20 ESV)
The believer's true citizenship is in heaven.
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven
and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of
heaven from God... And I heard a loud voice from the throne
saying, 'Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will
dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself
will be with them as their God.'" (Revelation 21:1-3 ESV)
The Bible teaches that believers enter heaven, and that in the final consummation, God establishes a New Heaven and a New Earth, uniting them
in His eternal kingdom. Matthew 5:5 ("the meek shall inherit the earth")
finds its ultimate fulfillment in this renewed creation.
Second: The physical, earthly reign of Jesus Christ.
Question: Did not Jesus say in John 18:36, "My kingdom is not of this
world"?
Answer: Let us read the whole verse carefully:
"Jesus answered, 'My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom
were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I
might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not
from the world.'" (John 18:36 ESV)
Jesus states that His kingdom is not derived from this world's corrupt systems, nor established by worldly force or military might ("not from
the world"). He does not say His kingdom will never be established upon
this earth.
"And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and
they shall reign on the earth." (Revelation 5:10 ESV)
The redeemed will reign with Christ on the earth.
"And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the
Lord will be one and his name one." (Zechariah 14:9 ESV)
"Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the
authority to judge was committed... They came to life and
reigned with Christ for a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4 ESV)
Proposition: The kingdom of Christ is heavenly in origin, but Scripture plainly teaches that Christ will return bodily to rule and reign upon
the earth with His saints.

Good News rCa
Jesus is God: christrose.news/Jesus-God.
The message that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead is the
only true, saving gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9). Any
other message is false and condemns people to conscious, eternal torment
in the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; John 3:18-19; Revelation
14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:14-15). Denying that Jesus is God guarantees you will die in your sins (John 8:24).
Christ bore our sins on the cross to clear our debt before God
(Colossians 2:14), and His resurrection stands as proof of that finished
work (Romans 1:4). Now, God justly forgives those who believe (Romans
3:26), granting escape from His impending judgment (1 Thessalonians
1:10). This mercy is a free gift accessible only through faith (Romans
6:23). If you believe this truth, call upon the Lord to save you today
