Man-made Lake Lanier in Georgia is haunted?

Since 1956 over around 700 people have drowned there.
More recently, around 13 deaths happened in 2023.
The deaths reported in Lake Lanier tops the rest of the Lakes. There
are many stories that imply hauntings.

For example, this one lady went swimming there, and she felt something
at her feet. She thought it was a fish. Suddenly something grabbed her
leg and pulled her under! She survived, but never did find out what it
    was.

It is true that flathead catfish in that Lake can grow up to 50 lbs,
but they cannot pull a person under. (AI Overview)

The folklore says a lady wearing a blue dress is seen around that
lake. They say she drowned many years ago, thus was a ghost. But she
could not be a ghost. Why?

Because the Bible says there is no such thing, if a ghost is defined
    as a dead human.

The shock the churches don't teach their laity. Those who have died,
    temp cease to exist. Proof:

    -- New King James
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they will die; but the dead
know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.

    -- New King James
Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your
might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the
    grave where you are going.

    --King James
    3. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom
    there is no help.
    4. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very
    day his thoughts perish.

    -- New King James
Psalms 115:17 The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down
    into silence.

    -- New King James
Matthew 9:24 He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead,
but sleeping.'' And they laughed Him to scorn.

12aThe disciples then said to him: oLord, if he is sleeping, he will
get well.o 13aJesus, however, had spoken about his death. But they
imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14aThen Jesus
said to them plainly: oLaz?a+rus has died", (John11:12-14)

12aThe disciples then said to him: oLord, if he is sleeping, he will
get well.o 13aJesus, however, had spoken about his death. But they
imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14aThen Jesus
said to them plainly: oLaz?a+rus has died,

Thus the Bible is clear. At death:

"but the dead know nothing". (Ec 9:5)
"no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave". (Ec 9:10)
"In that very day his thoughts perish." (Ps 146:4)
" The dead do not praise the Lord". (Ps 115:17)
"the girl is not dead, but sleeping.'' (Mt 9:24)

Then if a ghost is not a dead human, what is it?

Satan and the demons. They try to change what the Bible says and make
people believe his lies, AND MANY DO!!

Now you know what the Bible teaches about death. If your church
preaches something different, you have the above Scriptures to show
    them.

The Bible clearly shows the soul survives the death of the body:

rCLAnd do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the
soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in
    hell.rCY (Matthew 10:28, ESV)

rCo Jesus said it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for
Sodom and Gomorrah than for the cities that rejected Him
(Matthew 10:15; 11:22-24). Degrees of tolerability require
conscious awareness. Nonexistence does not vary by degree.

rCo Jesus also said of Judas, rCLIt would have been better for that
man if he had not been bornrCY (Mark 14:21, ESV). That cannot be
true if Judas simply ceased to exist. Nonexistence is not worse
than existence unless post-death punishment consciously occurs.

rCo Paul said, rCLWe would rather be away from the body and at home
with the LordrCY (2 Corinthians 5:8, ESV). This means the
believerrCOs soul goes to be with Christ after death.

rCo Jesus told of Lazarus who, after death, was comforted, while
the rich man was in torment and flame, conscious enough to
speak, remember, and feel regret (Luke 16:22rCo25). Parables and
symbols do not teach the opposite of what they mean. They
convey truth. So simply saying "parable" or "symbol" doesn't
disprove or automatically dismiss the stated fact of conscious
existence in comfort or torment after physical death. Further,
this account names actual people by name, which parables never
    do.

rCo John wrote, rCLThe smoke of their torment goes up forever and
ever, and they have no rest, day or nightrCY (Revelation 14:11,
ESV). This cannot describe unconscious nonexistence.

rCo Jesus said, rCLIt is better for you to enter life crippled than
with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable firerCY (Mark
9:43, ESV). The fire is unquenchable, not momentary. An eternal
fire serves no purpose unless what it burns endures.

rCo Revelation 20:10 says the devil, the beast, and the false
prophet rCLwill be tormented day and night forever and ever.rCY It
does not say they will cease to exist.

rCo Jesus said God is rCLnot God of the dead, but of the living,rCY
referring to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Matthew 22:32, ESV),
affirming their conscious existence after death.

rCo The thief on the cross was told, rCLToday you will be with me in
ParadiserCY (Luke 23:43, ESV). Jesus did not say rCLafter
resurrection,rCY but rCLtoday,rCY showing conscious life after death.

These passages all affirm conscious existence and consequences, either
of comfort or judgment after physical death. The Bible nowhere teaches annihilation after physical death.

Satan's Witnesses deny this, because they promote a false gospel which
seeks to "comfort" men with the delusion that they can reject Christ as Savior, yet still avoid conscious eternal torment, by ceasing to exist.
This is a LIE and false gospel of the worst order.

    Good News rCa

    Jesus is God: christrose.news/Jesus-God.

The solitary true and saving gospel is that Christ died for our sins and
rose from the grave (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9). Any
modification of this gospel is false and leads to conscious, eternal
    torment in the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; John 3:36;
Revelation 14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15). Unless you
believe Jesus is God, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

Jesus took our place on the cross to settle our debt with God
(Colossians 2:14), and God confirmed the acceptance of this payment by
raising Him from death (Romans 1:4). Thus, God remains holy while
justifying the ungodly (Romans 3:26) and shielding them from future
wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). This blessing is a free gift given to
those who believe (Romans 6:23). Place your confidence in Christ and
call on Him for salvation (Romans 10:9-13):
